the vfad is mounted behind the front bumper. you have to remove the plastic peace by the hood latch and take off a few screws to pull down the bumper. once that is out of the way you will be able to see the vfad from the gap of the bumper and fan. its only a few bolts it only took about 10min to pull.

also reset you ecu so it can program itself to the new air flow. once you do that it should go away.

ok i swear my car has a mind of its own...lol...i drove home from work...nothing it was beautiful instead of pay attention to the horrible stuttering and slowing of the engine i actually noticed a little more pep to it and the sound it has is amazing lol i was at a red light and it turned green so im going and i was about at 5.5 6k when i shifted and this cop on the other side turned and glarred at me...

lol it was great haha

hopefully the ecu corrected itself because i was kinda worried about resetting it myself.

do you think i should any ways?

give it a couple of days and see how it's doing before resetting, IMO. I didn't reset mine, and after a few days, the idle calmed down, and everything was back to normal except for the bitchin sound and possibly some better throttle response.

theres nothign to be afraid of....all you do is disconnect the battery and its all reset. i did this too....i actually had the battery disconnected while i installed. and my first test run with the intake had absolutely no problems...went right onto the highway and redlined

The cap that comes with the intake is crazy difficult to get on securely; I'd swear the thing was the wrong size (too small).
