So, I feel like a complete idiot right now. I was driving up and down Cliffdale this morning wondering why I couldn't find the place. Now that I'm back I see I was on the wrong road. I'll try again during lunch.

It was pretty boring. My cousin was supposed to come up for the weekend and we were gonna go to Myrtle, but he couldn't find anyone to watch his dog (lame excuse), so I didn't do much. The only excitement I had was when my neighbor asked me if I could check her oil for her... I love those women in distress.

 

Did you get a good hold of the dipstick when you checked?!! LOL!

 

I found it! Just picked my bottle back up. I guess they were pretty busy before Memorial Day though, because they ran out of nitrous. I got about 7 lbs still, which isn't bad. Thanks again for showing me where to find them!

Werd! Thanks, but they don't know me. All of my friends have mustangs and two of them have nos. I'm the only ricer, which is why we have to get something together here. I hate Fords.

 

Well, I'm up for a meet anytime. It's simple to throw something together. What we did in El Paso for our first meet was just have lunch. There was only 4 of us and we met up at Mulligans (grill/bar), took pictures outside, then had lunch. It was simple and easy for everyone to meet. The problem was getting everyone to check the boards so they would actually show up.

 

Thats cool, though we need to find some more peeps. There are a lot on post but actually talking to them is another story.

 

Were you in El Paso for the SMA?

 

That is a problem. I live off Ramsey and there is a VR 8 at the Eckerd down the road from me. Either it's broken down there or someone that works there owns it. I could leave a note on their windshield. If you see any random 8s parked around, just do the same. Leave them a small note asking them to visit the boards.

 

Nope. I was stationed there though. I'm just a lowly SFC, not ready for the SMA yet.

 

I know exactly which VR 8 youre talking about. I tried to catch a chick this morning on my way to work but she acted as though her $#!T didnt stink so I let her go. Alot of people are like that here, except for the soldiers; they never seem to mind talking about their 8's.

 

I started to notice that a lot. I try to wave and they don't even look or stare at me like I'm crazy. Oh well.

Make the meet a 2nd or 4th saturday and I'm sure I can convince some of the Raleigh guys to move the meet and make the haul down to you guys area. Nice to get out of RVegas sometimes anyhows. The threadjack continues....

edit:Yeah, there are some Raleigh people like that too. Only from 8 owners though, 7 owners always acknowledge.

 

If next Saturday (June 9th) works for you guys, it works for me. I'm even up to going to Raleigh if I know something is going on. I just wasn't into that whole airshow event (I'm in the military and kinda get turned off by military events on my down time)

Somethings going down next saturday, don't know what yet but it will be something. Still debating on what day to do the cookout at falls lake. Looks like it will either be the 9th or the 10th. If it's the 10th, we're still having a meet on the 9th at Sonic in RVegas. Don't think you would want to drive to Raleigh two days in a row so I'd do the cookout, whatever day it ends up being hahaha.
