This should be an AWESOME event!!!
Hey everyone, I just wanted to throw this out there but the Mazda Sports Car Club of NC has planned an autocross event. I figured I would let everyone know about it. Please read the following thread for all the details!

If my schedule will allow it I just might do that. I'm so tied up at work right now it's not even funny.
In regards to the car. I'm still trying to decide between getting some aftermarket wheels or getting my stockers powder coated black.

Cool. I may have missed it but what color is the car? I saw a dark chrome finish on the stock wheels around here somewhere that I thought looked pretty good. BTW our meets are on Saturdays. You work weekends?

Live in Durham, close to Raleigh, work in Roxboro
McDuffieL here with Titanium Gray 2004 Renesis, stock engine. Bought in used for New Years 2007 with 48k and got the extended 100k warranty. Got sweet deal and negotiated new black leather interior to replace cloth. Only DIY mods so far are Kuda phone bracket, red caliper paint, and 2" aluminum clutch pedal extension (I'm only 5'3" tall). Basic mods I have planned for now are the OEM iPod adapter, front and rear chrome rotary emblems and fender strakes. As soon as my warranty is up I will probably seek to turbo and refit a single center exhaust. At that point I will look to add a gauge bank. I have seen the ones for the dash and the side frame, but the coolest is the bank that fits in the ashtray console.
