I'm trying Nic. Sorry to hear about your plates. They did the samething to me a few years ago when I switched vehicles. But they gave me the option of fighting it, paying a $50.00 fine or turning in my plates for 30 days.
I was able to go into dmv court and prove how stupid they were. In NC you have to have insurance on the car before they let you drive it off the lot. I showed the judge proof of insurance and he dismissed the case and apologized for wasting my time.

MilkCartonMan
Agent Of Chaos
I8U+1
hough2696
marcus321
NoTears316
Pink Flea
toree45 (obligated haha)
04BB8 (I just now understand your forum name )
Anyone I miss? Anyone else?
The time has been decided. We want everyone to show up between 12 and 1. We will start cooking at 1. Since it closes at 5, a 1pm cook time will give us plenty of time to cook , chill, and eat.
Gary, backwoods drive afterwards?

Hey Nic and Gary, I don't think I will be able to make the next meet so take some pictures. It looks like it will be a good turn out. Have you guys signed up for the next MazdaDrivers HPDE out at VIR?

No HPDE for me...I'm joining the Tarheel Sports Car Club to compete in their autoX points series! Plus, I'll be racing at VIR for GT Live! My HPDE's consist of driving all these back country roads and trying to dodge all the road kill. haha

Racing at VIR/GT Live Nic? How did you pull that off? And will you be using your car? And if you are doing autoX did you invest in another set of wheels/tires? You know you will be eating those street tires doing the series.

Racing at GT Live = Tarzan's lap battle. I'm going to compete as well. Last year, only Jonny competed from our group and won it so this year I'm calling it project 'go faster than Jonny in my stock RX-8' .
Click here to check it out. I'm doing GT Live promotions again this year. I'd love to see some 100 Mazdas show up to MazdaSport's Mazda Days meet and exceed the expectations of the coordinators. Last year we were expected to have the least number of participants out of all of the car meets they hosted (subaru, nissan, and mitsu were the other meets last year). We pretty much met expectations last year...
GT Live is October 6 and 7 at VIR. Last year they used the ~2mile patriot course for the lap battle. No clue what the setup will be this year, probably much of the same. I'll be posting up more information as I get it. Hopefully no rain this year.
