yeah, I knew that was gonna happen, I think they told us about it when we were there in January. It's too bad, the last corner leading to the front straight was one of my favorite parts, and so was the 1-2 sequence. It looks like the front straight will see higher top speeds now too. We might need to rent that track again next year.

and, back on topic...

any ideas on the plans for heading out on Friday the 29th. I am going to take the day off, spend the morning over at Mazcare, get the car a good old checkup, and then be able to leave whenever.

I am at Mazda the first thing in the am for a rear tail light, plugs, coils, maybe plug wires, and the recall check up. Then maybe if time allows going to Charlies to maybe do gear oils changes and a shaft pulley change......Time will tell on that one......but i will be in hotlanta wee early.....

Do I need to bring the air mattress?

well---I have the green light for this one!!!! Enough money was in the office coffee fund again.
Phlash--is the room share still available? I'll take you up on it if it is. Just let me know

Who is going to be in hpde 3? TA will you drive that or are you in something else?
You ever get your tires? I dont want to be the only 8 in d3--i like crowds.
Dang Phlash your car WILL be ready.
I will show all how the oil cooler screens block air flow. Not a lot mind you but enough that you can see with a simple procedure.
It will be cooler than last time and new track surface!
Will lose my nanny virgin.
By the way I got my kumho st's-- all i can say is daymn. I can now hear my radio--turn in is not as sharp but the grip seems to be a little better and the ride is MUCH improved---very satisfied
Let the excitement begin.

hey, no more air mattresses needed.

OD, glad to see you will be joining us. And I know what you mean about the screens blocking the airflow, but I think it is minimal, and better than catching some of the road debris directly to the oil coolers. they are $$.

Guys, I'm not going to be able to make this one. With the baby due in early November, I should probly save a little "extra" money. I will catch up with the GARx8club next year, hopefully at RR. Be safe and have a blast!!

sorry to hear you won't make it, but I am told that having a baby is a great thing, so what better reason to miss some track. congrats on the arrival of the new one...in a couple months.

Thanks TA. Advice being considered. I will be on the outlook for some wheels for you. I am assuming that you want 17's?
