Whelp.....I won't be at Roebling, the Evo buyer came through at the last minute. I hate that, but I have decided that I want to be debt free. The next track car I build will be something I can really push, with no fear of myself, or having to drive the car home.

I have the Mustang, and it is started, but I really want something boosted, and lightweight.

The Evo will be sorely missed, but with wanting another kid, this is the right thing to do for the long term.

You guys drive safe, I am sure the next time I see you at the track, I will be chsing you guys..... Rotor on.....

 

Hey OD - I got an email from Julie... Instructor Clinic students (which at this time is just me) will be on track with HPDE3. They are working on the schedule...

 

Any time yall want on friday--i am off work. How about Bass Road exit on i 75 south(i'll get the number later). It has a nice service station large lot and not much traffic and easy interstate access from there. it's the last exit before you get to macon.

Thanks, I have been struggling with this for a while, and finally, the wife and I agreed on a new car. We are going to pay-off the rest of our school stuff (she has masters), and the last of our 'other' poor mistakes.

After that, we are ordering something like this. I wanted a Z06, the wifey wanted an S4. This is what we agreed on. TA has known for a while, but I wanted to share with the rest of you. This will be the new daily, and wifey Autocross machine. I am sure I will sneak a few days, here and there though .

Hey OD, is Bass Road before, or after the I-16 split? If it is before, that is great, we want to stop before the I-16 split, I am sure you know that, I am just excited.

 

STF - dude I am glad you got out of the EVO, but it would have been nice to hang with you trackside. We swore not to go to Spankys but if you came to Roebling we would have had to for old times sake.

Are you building an AI car? You mentioned you got a Stang and you started it already. How far from driveable is it?

 

It is still in the works, but I am thinking of doing a CMC car. Less work, less mods, more fun. I am looking at caging a 99 Stang, for CMC duty. It has a indy rear, and still car rev 7grand.

My next forey will be more with less. I want to focus on driving for the next few years, and less on tuning my car(s).

Yes Bass Road Exit is about 3 miles from that split--totally nice and non congested (and only about 2 miles from my house hehe).
STF --VERY nice car. Very. Automatic? Love that color also.
Will have to buy new clothes to ride in that beauty.
My son wants an older model A-4 but I dont know these car's well--we dont have a dealership in Macon and no repair shops deal with them here.
I will be sure to NOT show him this picture.

Got the stoptech rotors on the rear of the car with the new bobcats and boy do they look good. Surprisingly so.

The RS4 is a direct injected V8,420Bhp all wheel drive MONSTER with a 6 speed (the only way you can get it I believe).
