got track shoes on, got brake fluid flushed, sway bars greased, new air bypass valve and put in a new fuel pump just for the hell of it(already had it lying around. Now to get my track tires rebalanced, change the oil and i will be good to go. Glad --its a real busy week for me--

I changed out my fuel pump today too. Did the coils a couple of weekends ago. New coils really helped the high RPM hesitations I was getting.

Went to the dealership to ask about them about loaning me the tool to do the fuel pump with and they don't use it! They use the chisel and hammer method and if that doesn't work they just cut it off and use a new ring.

I bought a ring incase I needed it but the chisel and hammer method worked for me. Actually came off pretty easy. I used a lot of WD-40 though. Filled the tank and drove around for a bit and no leaks. Hope that fixes the problem I was having at CMP.

Still haven't heard from the SeatTime folks but they have my money so I'm showing up.

RR is where I found out about the fuel pump issue. Turn 5 was the big problem turn but it also did it in turn 3.

Greased my front strut today and re-greased and used new clips on my front brakes.

heat shrink makes a good rubber replacement for the front caliper pins--- i cheaped out.
It is strange but RR is the only place i ever had any starvation issues.
When you change your plugs --make sure you clean that sparkplug hole out GOOD.

Does NASA SE send out an envelope with all the prepared registration material (including window sticker and release form)? Or is it done online or via an email?
I haven't gotten anything and the event is next week.

You'll get that stuff when you register and go through tech at the track. You'll need to print out a HPDE tech form from the NASA website and bring it with you.

Link to tech form: NASA HPDE Tech Form

You should get there early so you can get registered and teched before the drivers meeting.

You should get an email this week sometime from Jim or Julie with information.

Yeah, all I bring is my NASA card and a tech form.
About 50% of the time I forget to take the tech form to tech but they have extra there.
For DE this year, all they are checking in tech is helmets and brake lights.

SouthFL, bring your numbers, 10" or taller and contrasting the car color. Have the pre-mentioned form filled out down to your signature when you take it to tech. Your window sticker is handed to you after checking your car and helmet.

Here's the driver list. It shows the grouping and number you will have on your car:

Denny, I'm always amazed at your ingenuity! You would have fit in well on Apollo 13.

Thanks for the tech & registration info everyone. Each region/club handles things a bit differently. Good to know that I'm not missing any info being distributed.

Schedule is up: Roebling Schedule

Looks good.

Don't forget you'll have to pay $5 at the gate.
