Hooverville! Are you as old as OD? Most people would think we are hanging out with a bunch of vacuum cleaners.

It is nice to be around people who have a little depth of knowledge that goes beyond what happened on "dancing with the stars" last night!

OnRails - I got dragged kicking and screaming to see it on Broadway when I was young. I liked it! Turns out the girl playing Annie at the time was Sarah Jessica Parker. (I think I was like 14 yrs old)

Unfortunately I know who was voted off of that program last night as well. I tell people that the wife makes me watch it.

mine came in yesterday. So I am all set. One of these days I will buy the XP8's, and see how I like them.

Swoope, have you not gotten any emails from NASA-SE, they went out a couple days ago, with all needed info.

The tech form can be found here-->HPDE Tech Form

Supplemental Regulations

I believe the schedule has already been posted. But here it is again.Schedule

Awesome! Glad they came in. New pads make a difference for sure.

I think Swoope was on the waiting list? Is that right Swoope?

My front pads (hp+) came in yesterday. The ones on my car now are 1/2+ Used up. Would you put the new set on or wear the old out?

at 1/2 wear them out--roebling is not that bad on brakes anyway.
4 sessions a day woo hoo!!!
I bet it is going to be crowded at the gate and I am coming in that morning ---since I cant get in the track after 10pm---it will be rushed for me. To tech-change out tires/check pressures etc--make the classroom--warm up--- then the session----whew!

You can always skip the first session if needed and that would give you some breathing room with time to not rush the wheels et al.

Remember you can go through tech before you do all that other stuff. They are only checking helmets and brake lights at tech this year for HPDE.

Still gotta get it all done before 9 though so you're right it's still not a lot of time.

Couple of 25 minute sessions on Sunday. Fun Fun. Since 3 / 4 are combined we will have 5 RX-8's out in that session. Gonna be some great video!

Actually, I should be moving into 3. I've spoken to Jim and I don't think there will be a problem. I may be looking at it for session 3 & 4 on Saturday or maybe start Sunday off in 3. We'll see how it goes.

Got a flat yesterday, work is crazy- 10am meeting tomorrow morning, best friend came in from out of town for a surprise visit and my house is getting tented for termites. The stars have not aligned for me to go. Call it superstition, but I pay attention to so many things conspiring to keep me from track time.

I'm going to miss this event after so many weeks of anticipation. Have fun, everyone. Be safe.

Sorry to hear it man. Hope things work out well. With all that going on, you'd be preoccupied anyway. Better to be on track with a clear head. Hope to see you soon.
