It's an idea. I am running the S-Techs which are supposed to be some of the stiffer ones without going to a complete coilover replacement. Not sure what else is available in a stiffer spring. I'll have a look around.

Right now I'm looking at the Progress Tech swaybars. CRH can get you a deal on them if you ask.

Every one that I have seen is mounted low in the front grill area. I think TA2 mounts his under the rear bumber. It always makes me smile because it kind of reminds me of those fake ***** you can get for the back of your truck.

So where might one purchase these things used? (transponders not the *****!) I think TA said something about a motorcycle website he got his from?

LOST ITEMS
Anyone find a couple of the small red tool bags? The ones that look kinda like money bags. I lost two (I think that's all). One had misc items in it and the other had my scan too. I really don't want to loose that!

i picked them up silver---i was one of the last ones to leave and saw them --didnt know who's they were-- I will get them shipped to ya--pm me your address ok.
On rails are you running oem shocks with the s techs and oem rollbars?
Check with charlie also he can make an adjustable rear one for ya easily.
That damn roar car passed me too--i let him go in 5/6--then decided ok lets see what i can do and try to stay with him. I got caught in a little traffic but not bad. He is damn fast(as expected) in the turns, especially entering and mid corner. I had him a little on exit and straights ---so end result is I didn't pass him but with driving pretty hard he was not pulling me. My temps were also up and I was loosing a little power but I also would not want to drive that hard all the time. He pulled off track before the checkered---so I told myself "AHA--HE QUIT__I WAS CATCHING HIS BUTT!) . Sometimes it is nice to be delusional

I've got the Tokico D-Spec adjustable shocks paired with the S Techs. I still have the stock sways front a rear though.

He was fast that's for sure. He was faster than me on all parts of the track including the front straight.

lol... I see I'm not the only one to have enjoyed the Roar car. I saw him in my rear view mirror when I was passing the start/finish and by the time I made turn 1 he was close enough I gave him the right had wave for the next passing zone and gave it to him in track out of 2. Rob was flying and I enjoyed every second of watching him drive. We were held up by slower traffic and he made a pass out of 7. Fun to be on the same track with the Roar car. It's in my second vid I posted earlier.

That was the highlight of my weekend as well! I'm glad I got to drive her more than work on her this weekend. She's finally coming together. Next time, I'll get a ready built track car. I wouldn't give up any of the experiences though, I learned a heck of a lot with her. I've replaced/built almost every peice on her. Of all of the instructors, I have the oldest car. That means I'm either very persistent, or stupid. I don't know which. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.

I have some pictures up now. Not a lot, just a few. There will be a few more, not many.
The Gallery

A few selected images.

I like this one, it is not in its original format, it has been edited a bit. but I like it.

I did not shoot much this weekend, less than 300 pictures, which is nothing compared to my usual routine. I just was not in the mood. Maybe I will shoot more at Barber, if they have the whole track open to us, if not, then I probably won't shoot many.
