I'll be there as well in HPDE 3.
Will be my first time at Roebling.

 

This event may trump Road Atlanta.

Roebling is a fun track. I was just there last weekend and I always enjoy driving there. We'll have big fun.

 

Are you still instructing and running TT's or did you just back off to TTs?? I would think the first would make for a very tiring weekend.

 

If I may give some insight - he is a true TrackAddict. Generally instructing 2 students and running TT. 4 weekends last year he instructed me and ran TT in 3 of them and had another student.
I believe I am good luck since those weekends were all TT wins and track records.
Oh, he runs DE4 also.

Are there any prerequisites for HDPE 2? I did the Audi driving school at Road A and kicked ***. I'm pretty familiar with Roebling, just without the extra 2 wheels.

Can you bring a friend to ride with you?

 

I'll be there! Roebling has a really cool flow to it when you get into the groove. Haven't signed up yet. Hope it doesn't fill up too early.

 

The price is correct, and that covers Sat and Sun. NASA has things to quibble about, but it is hard to argue the price. Prereq for DE2 is generally that some group they recognize has signed u off to drive in DE2.
Check the links in the first post, and email the registrar (Julie). She will determine if your experience level puts you where you want to be.

Good deal! You will have to learn me in the Legomobile though. If Julie accepts my request to move down to HPDE2. I plan to co-drive Legos's RX-7 if all goes well. I don't expect my car to be broken-in in time and Lego has been generous enough to allow me to partner. Driving in DE1/2 is fine with me as getting back into the swing of things will be a bit gradual for me anyway. Fingers crossed on the DE2 thing. If I'm lucky, I will get to drive with Dano & Spoolin. Now that would be fun... a Miata, RX-8 and RX-7. If Julie doesn't come through for me, I'm not sure what I will do. Maybe transfer Roebling to CMP in July?

Phlash, yes, we need to add to the beer stein collection. I think we can leave early, maybe not the 4:30 am it was last time, Mr.s L8 might not appreciate the mid-pipe at 5 am the way we do. I SEE FIRE!!
