March 5 is good for me, be a good realxer oafter my exam on the 4th. Gotta do it failr early in the day, so that we miss most of the traffic, and I can get home in time to get some work done.

AC8 and valpac showed me a new route last time we went up, it is basically the same, but instead of turning off to go to Lake Winfield Scott, you keep going, and it is some nice road, wider than the first part, and fairly new, and it was fun. 8:00 is fine with me.

 

Lego, what are you thinking, time wise?

 

Write me in, I'll have new tires and "maybe" a few parts to keep me Flat in the pictures.

I'm writing my new signiture now, since no one else had "Bone Stock", I did'nt either.

I'll be ready for the weekend, if all goes well, you know what that means, it will bean extra 1/3 mile!!! Just kidding, no tires 'till next week. All kinds of new "go fast" parts and duh-dead tyres.

well, i have been looking at the forecast for next weekend, and currently there is a 60% chance of rain.

In the event that it is raining Sunday morning when my alarm goes off, I will be turning it off and going back to sleep. I have no desire to drive around in the rain. Just not as much fun. So, silver, get that rain dance thing back out, and get to work.

I really hope it does not rain, I would like to see AC's new stay flat parts, and just get out for a bit. This weather we have been having really blows.

well, the weather forecast is looking good, down to partly cloudy and only a 20% chance of rain, with a high of 56. Very nice. So, we are still meeting a the McDonald's on GA 400, at Highwy 53, at 8:00 am. See you guys there.

 

Afterwards, those that would like to check out a few locations around Lake Lanier for our April Bar-B-Q, we will be heading from the same intersection we meet in the morning (McDonald's) and heading Hwy 53 toward Gainesville and then south on Peachtree Ind. (McEver Rd). First stop will be Van Pugh Park, then back on P'tree Ind. down to Buford Dam Road to check a few locations around the Dam area. Then you guys that are heading south can continue on to Comming and head south on 400.

Sorry guys, I won't be able to make it. I'm going to have to stay at home and work some items off the Honey Do list. We've got parents coming over soon. I hope you all have fun.

 

Strike me off the list too. I spent all day today doing car stuff. Now it's dark thirty and I've not worked on any of my duty list. If you guys can come back over 53 toward Gainesville and down Peachtree Ind. as I mentioned in a previous post, I'd like to see if we could look over a few sites around Lake Lanier for the April BBQ. If you will discuss when you get together and see if you can work that out, it might be a good thing to do. L8 let me know what you guys decide.

 

How was it???

 

we had a good time. We only had 4 show up, a few folks could not make it out. A couple new faces came out, so that was cool too. All cars returned home, safe and only sustaining more paint chips on the front ends. There was a LOT of gravel out there. I have about 30 minutes of good footage, that I am going to work on and get hosted over at silverEIGHT studio once I have a chance to mess with it.

 

Wow, just caught the latest video installment at silverstudio.com. Valpac (or a car that looks alot like his) on the track at Little Talladega. Thanks, Don. The video is excellent. Your effort is greatly appreciated. I look forward to your next endeavor.
