This weekend I will be finalizing my images from the SuperBike race at Road Atlanta and after that I will work on the GA RX8Club site, including a calendar.

Damn, I just got back from that, I signed up for Sunday, since my folks were in town yesterday. It was fun, I killed a bunch of cones int he Lexus, stupid understeer. :D

 

yeah, it really was not enough, one quick lap, and then you are done. It was still fun to shred someone else's tires for a change.

I wish I could do the Lexus thing, but I am not in town that weekend. You will have to let us know how it was.

Hey everyone Im a brandnew RX-8 owner. I live in Alpharetta and Im looking to come to some meets and get to know some fellow RX-8 owners. I dont see many on the road in my area. I think I have seen maybe two other than mine. Some guy around here in his 30 or 40s with a black one and someone with a grey one saw that from a distance.
Just got mine tinted today finally...looks niiiiice :D

Hey i just found out about the Ga8 club. I live in Kennesaw and i was wondering if i may join? I am only 18 but I absolutely love my rx-8

 

i think you just did. :D Where are you located? As silver mentioned above, we have a ton fo things going on right now. We are pretty active, and try to have something in the works most of the time. Keep checking back in the SE forum, and that is where you will find most of us lurking.

You bet!! But first, you must be tracked!! Track virgins must be broken in. So, hop on up to the NASA site, join, and come with us Friday to run at Savannah for the weekend. Then, you must modify the car with at least one new thing prior to the next event. You must also learn the "Tbone" with a track cart. Finally, there is the sacrifice to the Mazcare gods in which you will be tied naked and blindfolded to one of the lifts and.......well, you'll just have to find out......

Remember, the sight of Nabil's checkered thong has become a normal part of each event, so please, don't stare, he's sensitive........

 

i think that makes you the youngest in the group, and the second black in the group. Charlie may not feel special anymore. :D

I have the umnitza carbon fiber intake coming in the mail. It should be here by this weekend. I will let you guys know how the install goes. Is there in rx-8s with FI in our area? Im curious what its like.

spyder-doo has gone Greddy turbo. Last I heard the R flash had him all messed up. Not sure if he has gotten it straightened out or not.

Yep it sucked at first but I think my emanage and ecu finally settled their differences and they get along just fine now. Just had the transmission rebuilt due to a friend's attempt to race my car. A new fork and syncros later and now it drives again. I ran a 8.7sec 1/8th mile on street tires before that though. I'm taking it down to mazcare tomarrow afternoon to get some redline transmission fluid for it and to let charlie take a look at it. Glad to see someone younger than me in the GA club. Kennesaw isn't that far away maybe we could meet up with some of the other 8 owners sometime.
