Jessie and I were unofficially keeping track of some of the other Evo times that were out there...there was a Grey EVO MR out there, that had an exhaust, and a blue one that looked fairly stock. Don't think there was a single Evo on R-Compounds...would have been interesting to see those times. I think Jessie and I had similar raw times. Of our six combined runs...I think I had the only clean run. He hit cones on all three runs, and I hit cones on the first two runs (I think I even DNQ'd on the second run...or at least should have been counted that way).
My best raw time (clean) was a 66.2xx. His best raw time (plus one cone though) was 66.3XX. I think the other Evos were running low 67's...but not certain though, as there were a lot fo cars in our run group...and way too many codrive cars.
I'm interested to see the final results, once posted. I'll go through and hunt for EVO times for comparison. Was weird though, finishing 6 seconds behind Ulllose again....felt like when I first started, and had nothing but stock junk on the 8.... Looking forward to the 11th.

Talked to Cindy Jansen today.
A scant 15 bucks buys you a 6 month SCCA Membership.
You can go on line to scca.org or they will have them at he National Tour in San Diego and at the Pro in El Toro. So $15 gets current non-scca members in both events plus as many as you can get in 6 months but will not include the Solo Nationals.
So make sure that you get signed up for the Pro early !

the Mazdaspeed 3 is in D-stock...a pretty calm class...I'm sure it does pretty well...we'll have to check the standings once the results are posted.

Son of a B$&CH.... I drove my car today (first time in like a month) and I am jsut starting to get the gear grind. I was on the freeway and I went form 3rd to 4th with a nice little gear grind. twice in a row.
Called the AMSOIL dealer and told him about keiths (about how it was pretty much undrivable) and told him about mine. I told him Keith put the Royal Purple in and the problem went away. I also told him that I have a race this weekend and I will be pulling it out as well since I do not want grinding issues. He is making a call AMSOIL to find out what is going on. he will let me know.
Just thought you guys would be interested to hear that.... :/

time to pull that sponsership off the car....did you tell him about that?
I'm glad it wasn't just my car....glad, well, not sure if that is the right word...but it definately makes me feel better that there isn't something going in the wrong direction inside my trans....
I posted my experience in a Royal Purple thread...you may want to post your results in your Dyno/Amsoil thread.

I must say though, that mine is nothing compared to yours....... does that help make you feel worse again.
also I registered for the pro solo. you need to change your registration, and change your number to 132. (it said you are supposed to have the co driver add 100. I am 32, you are 132.......
also change your car to mine.

Nope, doesn't make me feel bad...just expect the problem to continue to get worse.

Jason M. How come I dont see your name on the list for the Pro Solo?
Looks like BS is a field full of RX-8's
You two need to place 1st and 2nd to show them how it's done.
right now looks like Keith and I will be placing 5th and 6th.
