Thumbs up Clean Stuck Apex seals ( Video )

I found this video on youtube and it seems to be a good vid.

Makes sense to me any way and i read on another forum that a guy
had 70psi on 1 rotor then followed steps in this video and his compression jumped
up to 98 right away.

( DUDE thanks for this vid. You just saved me about 3,000$. I have a 1997 RX7 turbo. It was geting hard to start and runing ruff. and was told the roters where shot. I just did what you did in this vid and now it runs like a champ and gets 5 more MPG.

I can not thank you enuff. )

------

Very informative your video helped me un-seized my 13B that had been sitting for 4yrs. now it runs like a champ!

------

Maybe more people should try this before rebuilding?
I know i will be

ok ... i think the easiest way to free a stuck seal is ... Take the car to some back road, warm it up , then just beat the crap out of it. Problems solved .

If my engine had low compression i would definitely give this a shot before forking out for a new one . Logic is pretty sound .

Only problem - we can't push the apex seals in in a side port !!!

A friend of mine just did this with a Renesis that had practically zero compression in the front rotor . Drove the car yesterday and it runs perfectly now .

I would give this procedure the thumbs up for sure .
