Hmmm, I'd like to see them on a Copper Red to see how they would look like. Gold looks good on Red, so I am assuming it would also look good on CR. I like chrome on CR personally but hey, maybe gold looks better, we'd have to wait and see!

I'm terrified, but I'm gonna chance it. She'll either look totally HAWT, or totally NOT! If they don't work, I'll have them up for sale....I promise that much, but I'ma praying I get it right the first time.

I have always thought the gold would look great on the Copper Red Mica. Soooo sick, I thought I saw a CR around here before with the gold and it was awesome. 18's or 19's?

Are you going to sell any of your stock rims or just hold onto them as spares. First Dibs if you decide on parting with em or one or two.

Thanks AJ, Pm coming shortly. 18x8.5's, maybe 9.5's on the back. +45. Don't want to push the suspension too much.

A good idea is to take pic of car, use photoshop to change color of rims to gold and look at it blurring vision...

Thanks bro! Got my new Blow-Off Valve! Woohoo!!! It's a Synapse Synchronic BOV, no diaphragm, it has a piston instead.

Dont know what size they are, just that they are Sf Challenges. I dunno...What do you think?

I dont know if you chopped wheels and tires or just wheels, but remember, mine are currently stock sizes... Maybe thats why they look so huge! Otherwise, I appreciate the view.

Hey Laura...
that photoshop looks freakin hawt!!!

IMO i think if youre gonna spend all that $ on rims, i would get them a little bigger...you will not loose any handling really...especially if you get the same width all the way around..

if you concerned about the handling, i would go with 19x8.5 +40...that will give you a litte lip...

i have not noticed a difference on my staggered setup...i think its cuz its not that big of a difference...plus have have tein s techs and eibach sways

Yeah Pat...but do you drive the **** outta your 8 like I do, and thats all the time. Ya gotta remember I LIVE in the twisties..so it's not like I can avoid them. It would be a shame to lose the ability when I have the access literally at the end of my driveway. I'm about set on 18x8.5 f, 18x9.5 r with somewhere between a +40 and a +45 offset. I'm talking to a guru here, and we are getting together soon to go over everything, as far as recommendations for coilovers, wheel specs tires, and such. I'm going adjustable. , and I spilled a bit about the kit to this person too so they know what I'm dealing with. She is gonna be sic I tell ya..Oh and sadly I'm learning something very valuable...

PATIENCE!!!!!

Ya know someone needs to design a pacing smiley that would be cool.

OK....I'm hard headed as you've probably figured out already. I'm one of those that has to know every detail before I go out on a limb such as this. Once I understand what effects what,..I'll be more comfortable in possibly going with larger wheel sizes. NOOB = Rddragoness .... ftl

^^^This conversation reminds me of Phil's 8 talking to me about going FI on my 8

Phil: "Forget the damn warranty and get the turbo!" or something like that.

I might have to make that my signature.

I think it will look good, no bigger than 19"... 20's look too busy, it's the way the lip is, if it was a flatter lip then yeah, I'd go with the 20's...
