I've been working on my night shots. This was taken up on a local square so they have all the bright yellowish lighting. All I've done is crop it to get rid of the lower edge of the concrete curb. I had to sit the camera on the ground to get it perfectly still, because I didn't have a tripod.

I'm almost have tempted to trade my '04 VR in on a CR at one of the dealers here...
They took it out of the showroom the other day and dropped the price drastically again... (2006 left-over model... 150 kilometers on it and they want 26k...)
Has a Mazdaspeed CAI installed on it along with Mazdaspeed rims (17x7.5, marketed for the Mazda 6, i'd probably try and get them to install the stock rims on it instead)
I dunno how my Gold rims would look on a Copper Red though... That and the interior might just be a little too light for my taste, even if it is beautiful... lol

These are the closest to gold I have to compare. I started to get gold, but honestly couldnt afford what I wanted. I hope this helps. GET that Shinka. 1. Its a steal, and 2. the interior is easy to clean. 3. It is so cool during the hot summer months as well instead of the black, even in cloth.. Proud owner for 2 years, and loving every minute of it.

I tried speaking with a couple of salesmen at that particular dealership before when looking to trade-in for their left-over '07s, which also came with MS CAI and Rims, as they only wanted 31k... BUT it was 8.9% financing and that just killed it...
I know they had 0.9% on their '06s, but not sure if this car was included in that or not...
I might have to get my pay-out on my '04 and see what kind of payments I can get on the '06... If I can keep my payments the same, or very close then i'd be crazy not to trade in mine with 94,000kms on it lol...
I really prefer the Black/Red leather over the Shinka interior, but again... Brand-new left-over, as opposed to what I have now... Hard not to make a deal like that...
It looked sooooo nice at the dealer today... Looking at the front end and seeing the small radiators in mint condition, whereas mine are beat all to hell from the previous owner.

It is an 06 so it should have the same financing rate I would think.....either that or make it so if they want to sell you a car! Seeing your location of course heat in the summer is not as important to you, but warmth and comfort in the winter of the softer seats, is a heck of a lot better than cold leather as well.
In the long run though.....buying what you want, even if you pay a higher price for it, you'll be happier. I looked at 3, all shinka's all various options, and the CR had everything I wanted and to me is was the most beautiful thing I had ever laid my eyes on, and I have no regrets.

LOL heat in the summer is plenty important as it hits 95*F fairly often and can make it into the triple digits aswell... But thats what the A/C is for lol
The warmth/comfort in the winter however, doesn't matter to me as I store the car in the winter and drive whatever winter-beater I happen to get my hands on... (I've got a Tracker, Civic and Justy lol)
You're twisting my arm into this Shinka! lol But if it came down to the Shinka, and another VR with Black/Red leather, I think I would most likely be all over the VR lol... Maybe i'll see if they'll let me take it out for a rip and see how those Alcantara seats feel
They also have a 2006 SS RX8 on the lot... With full authentic Mazdaspeed kit, CAI, Mazdaspeed Dual-Canister Exhaust, Gunmetal Mazdaspeed RX8 rims, etc... But they want a ridiculous price for it and it's out being test-driven everytime i'm at the dealership :\ That and SS is cursed!!! lol

Go drive it. Make use of the 8 way power settings and lumbar support, and get the true feel of those luxurious seats under your ****. You'll be hooked! There is nothing like it. It doesn't feel the same as getting into one with leather....trust me..Another thing you'll realize too is that the subframe cross members are foam filled. That baby is a lot stiffer than what you are used too. Get into a few twisties, to see what she will do,....If you don't come back with a perma grin, and ready to talk numbers, then I don't know what else to tell you.
Oh and your Gold wheels will look sic against the Copper Red. Anything, with gold in it, Bronze or gold will pull out the color of that car. It has just enough in the paint to really make it look awesome IMO

Hahaah, yeah the power seats are definitely a great comfort. I've driven my car 1000+ kms 5-6 times in the last year, only stopping for gas lol... Without adjusting the seat after every few hours it would be much harder to be comfortable lol... I completely forgot about the Lumbar until I reached back a little too far one day and hit it... lol
Yeah, I really like the feel of the Alcantara. I worked at a Subaru dealership while living in Ottawa and I drove STI's every day, which was a nice perk lol...
One of the only down-falls to picking up another RX8, is having the rear-fenders shaved again to fit my rear wheel/tire in there without rubbing lol O Then again it didn't take the body-shop very long to do it to my current RX8.
We'll see how things go. I can't see me getting the same kind of payments as I have now, and I won't get nearly as much for my car trading it in as I would selling it privately... So this whole idea is likely just me dreaming again lol.

OHHHHHHHHoooooooo, I love me some Copper Red shine! I need to get a claybar to mine honestly. Its been a while. She goes next week to get detailed. My son was in a fender bender in his brand new car....GRRRRRRRR, and so I've offered her up as a substitute so he and his new bride can drive away in style.
I still need to drop mine. She's sitting on stock sized wheels, but still needs it as most would agree. Once the boy is married, then I can start modding again. The plan by the spring is to have her mitted and kitted and ready for the show circuit.
