My post wasn't implying anything about the RX8 or Cobra not being able to hit 147...

Wow, I was caught doing 86 in a 45 with my friend right behing me. Pulled us both over. Threatened to tow both cars but didn't. Gave us both careless instead of wreckless. Went to court $175 fine with a $70 driving class, no points, as well as 6 months of (kind of like probation I guess) if I was to get pulled over I would recieve the previous 3 points and keep the new ones. We were both very lucky considering when we passed by the cop doing 41 over my buddy was less than a foot away from my bumper with his hazards on.

From there on I only drive fast on da track.
That reminds me of a few weeks ago driving on i-75 South coming back from Westbranch. Cars were scattered out about an eigth of a mile apart and I decided to get on it (2001 Dodge Neon ES, 2.0 132 hp, 175k miles) Last time it topped out at 112 but this time made it to 120 (I do not know if it would have kept going, I just let off). Within 15 seconds of hitting 120 in the Neon I brought it down to a little over 85 and went by a state police Suburban. He was hiding literally in the trees, not on the emergency vehicles only paths, so I could not see him until I went right past him. He didn't move thankfully.
