Instead of overpaying for a used RX-8 (I guess dealers and individuals don't understand why their cars have been sitting in the lot for three months), I am thinking about buying a new one assuming the price is right. The current deal is $2500 rebate, anyone know if they will go higher for August? The problem is that all the sport models are gone, I really don't want to pay more than $20K for a brand new one. Cheapest I see so far are $21995.

 

last year rebates was high as 5k off. it might go up next month you just have to wait.

 

Just wait for a month or 2 more.

 

That's what I figure off. If I see a $4K rebate, I will buy it with my s plan and call it a day. Rebate was $2500 in June, same in July
