Here's a question for you guys. The dealership where I bought my 8 told me it was an 04 and that's what's on my title. I just installed my new COBB AccessPort and *it* says that I have an 05. I tend to believe the COBB since it's reading the ECU, but does it even matter? How could a dealership get the year wrong?

What is pre-mix?
What does it do?
What kind should I use?
Where can I get it?

Thanks.

It's an oil that can be mixed with gas - primarily used in 2-stroke engines but also useful for a rotary as they require lubrication of the combustion chamber also.
If you still have a cat * run any kind that is cat friendly (as in not a marine grade).
Use it at a ratio of 200:1 to 250:1 to be effective . Not really considered essential if your oil metering pump is doing its job properly and you are on the latest flash from Mazda, but many do it for peace of mind .
Get it anywhere that sells engine oil .

Does anyone have experience with reman'd injectors? Not an easy task to find 4 blue used injectors but have found reman'd ones for a good price but somewhat leary of them.

best I came up with is ND is possibly the new miata being designed. It will still be a chick car and comes with an attachable vagina*.

* Note Mazda has neither confirmed nor denied the optional attachable vagina.

ok so when the warranty on the engine is 8 years, 100,000 miles......does that mean that my 2005 model only has 1 year of warranty left even tho it only has 70k miles?

In North America the 4 ports were only sold in automatics 2003-2005.
After that they put the 6 port in the Auto's

What's a port?

Do replaced engines have warranties? my car has 87k miles on it, but engine is 15k miles. car is from 04. so warranty is up. but was that for the original engine? How does it work. I feel like the answer will be no warranty on new engines.

just a shot here but do you think a leak in the exhaust gasket between the header and the cat could cause a problem with how its been running if i have a test pipe instead of a cat so its messing with the o2 sensor a lot and its in between both o2 sensors. its never very consistent with the power loss when its warmed up so im checking everything before compression and i haven't driven it in 2 months
