Yeah... I'm aware lol. I Just had the car out today. Playing around on 19psi and the tires were braking loose on me during a 4th gear pull (5-speed trans) @ 85mph and I was only at 5500-6000rpm and they would not grip all the way through 8500rpm and almost hitting 100mph.... This car with over 500whp is NO joke. I plan to run some r-comps on the car eventually, Im sure thats when ill start running into rear end issues. But time will tell!

I have a electronic boost controller so I run it on low boost (16psi,464whp) 90% of the time... High boost it's just stupid lol

hmm have you sold the ecu yet? This thing looks fantastic on the swap page on facebook. Any specific reason you swapped ecu's?

I did already sell the ECU...

I had constant idle problems and drive-ability problems with the Microtech. I don't think its necessarily the Microtech, But the lack of support in my area and no help from microtech themselves. Customers service is KEY. and AEM has responded to all calls and emails with the answers I''m looking for. The new AEM infinity is unlimited to its capabilities. and I have a shop lined up to do all the tuning and street-ability tuning as well.

20 psi. Whatever the number is at 20 pounds that's what the number will be. But yes. Hopefully beat my old number of 504! "Fingers Crossed"

Wow 20lb, that's awesome. Build looks awesome, makes me want to spend part of my savings to get started on mine.

Quick question, did you have any issues with the rx8performance rx8/rew swap mount? Just curious. I've noticed their design has changed or updated.

I seen that he changed his design and wondered that myself. The only issue I ever had was the initial install I had to bore some of the holes to get some of the bolts through. But no big deal. I will note that the mount I have does not utilize all of the motor mount bolt holes on the engine side and his new design does. I have not noticed or had any problems with my current set-up. But if I had the cash laying around I wouldn't mind upgrading.

Your build has turned out really nice Neal, clean and uncluttered, well done sir! Look forward to seeing the new numbers as well!

We did change the design Warrior. We build our kits in house and frankly they were very labor intensive to build so we revised the design. We wanted to keep it lightweight, further reduce nvh with larger bushings while maintaining it's original subframe reinforcement characteristics.

Sorry for the brief thread-jack Neal, let me know if I can help in any way, Scott

No problem, I wouldn't mind that new mount even though I'm not having any troubles with the current one. I just like new stuff

I just wanted to say thank you to both for the updated info on the mount. Made me chose the rx8 performance over the banzi in my build list. Seems much more promising!
