Water lines
Oil lines
Intercooler lines
Turbo feed
Turbo drain
2stroke feed
EWP and intercooler ewp
DONE.

Removed the mechanical section of abs and used a block off plate to enclose the electrical section and relocated to the passenger floor.

Custom short plug leads with the ignition packs mounted just above and off to side of housings.

Redoing the entire brake system with braided Teflon and a wilwood pro portioning valve and the hel kit.

Gotta wire up extra gauges

The manifold and dump and turbo hot side are ceramic Coat and baked with titanium wrap. Should keep heat in fairly well.

It's very close, will put oil in soon. Coolant is in and flowing tho there's not much pressure in the heater lines which is a concern as I rely on heater lines for gas convertors.

Need the LPG lines and certification done. Most of wiring is complete

Hey. Does anyone here know if the pin locations for the 3pin and 6pin plugs on a s5 omp and a 20b omp are in the same location regardless of the wiring colours? I've got the circuit diagram for wiring a s5 omp to my ECU but I have a 20b with 20b omp! The colours are different.

And some pic updates.

Looking great man. If you want to protect those gas lines at friction points, check these out: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Complete, almost.... Lol

Oh man I have been a slack contributor. Soz guys, guess I've been just busting my ***** trying to get her right and finished, tho I'm starting to understand what those in the know refer to as "a build like this never is finished" lol

Happy to report I have taken her out a few times, and had her started about July I think. I'm still trying to fix and finish little niggly things and oh yeh I rewired the two ecu's and new fuse box etc. so painful,,,,, I'll post up a video soon, once I work out how to do that here. In the meantime some pics

Yeh still gotta finish the shielding, plus I have some hood vents to put in above the turbo.

I'm having massive issues at moment with bad idle, revs breaking up etc, it's been remotely tuned and was running great a few weeks back with as much as 24psi boost, 4th gear 189km/p/h (5sp). Then I started getting random backfiring and random stalls, etc. so I rewired everything and still I got the same issues. So pissed

What's your ecu data logs showing?
Mostly likely something simple that's getting over looked.
Goodluck......You'll get it resolved

Yes indeed, simple it was, man I feel like an idiot.
The two 12v + terminals screwed to fuse box were only finger tight!
Grrrr

Timing issue I think

Well it seems I may have my timing marks or just timing screwed a little.
Turbo manifold glowing after a very easy 50mins highway drive at 2am cool conditions with no boosting.

Better remove the bonnet/hood lining before it burns the car down lol. It was smouldering when I pulled up. I'm sure it's fireproof or something, but it was def on fire, ie smouldering red. And that's with small hood vents above turbo.

Definitely something going on if it's doing that man, seems like the same problem Lee is having over at the 7 forum.

Bro - you need a massive pat on the back! Great work, I'm impressed.

P.S. I love the manifold and I bet it looks gangsta as when it's red hot!

A very overdue UPDATE

WELL I got very busy with finishing the build, renovating the house, selling the house, moving to Thailand and trying to enjoy the beast before leaving!! That was 14months ago!!

ill post some pics here. Still got the car in AUS, but currently trying to sell her as I recently was scammed out of $200k + grrrr. Some People are just greedy fks

anyway.

I threw that turbo manifold in the bin and built a very interesring high flow straight pipe design. I'll try find the pics but it works a treat!!

I also upgraded that turbo to 475sx3. Rerouted the WG dump to the tarmac, SOUNDS AWESOME, when I open her up to blast someone wanting a run hehe.

I got experimental with intercooling and plumbed the Lpg via the barrel cooler before entering the converters which works an absolute treat. Ditched the intercooler ewp and reverted that beautiful Setrab radiator back to oil cooling duty. Ditched one of the corner coolers to leave one corner and the Setrab. Oil temps are just lovely now hehe
i had a lot of probs finding the right plugs and suitable heat range plus still had issues locking in the timing to the ecu correctly. Had some stupid glitches going on in software too, during tuning.
Still never made it to dyno tuning, mainly coz needed that money for the Thai move

fuel costs, WELL, if driven sedately, 100km was costing me EXACTLY the same as Rene did. Of course, who drives sedately with a 20b rx8!!! So yeh thirsty AF when stomping on her.

Ill add pics below. And vid links later on

Pics

Lpg plumbed into barrel, then out to gas converters
