I have to wait on BHR to release his resonator for purchase. I only want to setup the jig once for the cutting and welding up my race pipe.

When I come up, I'm bringing the 23 year old money vacuum also. Need lots of planning.

And necessary as other resonators are prone to burning out.

I will be shopping at the BHR store to finish my project out. When the resonator is out for sale, and you have filled all your early orders, give me a buzz and I will order one up.

I have more items to purchase other than the resonator...

At 100 miles now. My water and oil temps are running at 165-170. Startup oil pressure is 115 PSI, and then backs down to 75 in cruise, idles around 25-30 PSI.

I'm running Jeff's base AP tune for now since I am mainly staying in closed loop and under 4K on the RPMs.

The car has a different sound, more throaty in the mid range is all I can describe it. Can't wait to get her broke in, tuned and unleashed again.

Let me take you car to Montana and I will finish the break in process. It's 1800 miles round trip which should be plenty hauling *** fun on the way back

I think you can purchase the tank and sensor brand new.

1987 Yamaha Razz
Yamaha Part#
1YU-21751-00-00 - Oil tank
52W-21770-00-00 - Tank cap
53L-85720-02-00 - Oil level sensor

I'm thinking about ordering these later this week.

I'll go through the parts fiche, but it's hard to judge the size of the container. Plus, these 2-stroke scooters never had the intention to carry so much oil. There's also the issue of trying to find a tank with dimensions that'll fit in the engine bay.

gripen let me know if you find a place to order that tank. i might just copy nemesis's set up and deal with a smaller reservoir since i want to get this installed soon. i can always change later if i discover a bigger tank that'll fit.

nemesis, if you're moving your battery what are you doing with the tray you built?

LOL - you can have it. As soon as my Odyssey battery holder gets here, I need to fashion a bracket to mount it to the firewall using the existing holes and nuts there. It might take me a week to get this complete. Are you in a hurry?

I'm also moving the reservoir to the side of the REVi intake box...

It never ends!

Oil level sensor has been discontinued. The oil tank has to be shipped from Japan, which will take 2-4 weeks.
