Had to do it. I really liked the Soaring M...So I did the remix :-). The double sided tape I used sucked, but it definitely makes me look at it...BTW...Anyone have any silver touch up? I scratched my baby trying to do this process.

Think my motor blew on the way home from work. Lots of sputtering and motor would not go over 4k. I limped to the dealership and the head tech came out to look at it. We were discussing the issues and it literally died a few seconds later and would not restart.

Is it just the ignition coils or you really blew your engine? That would suck man, your were getting ready to go on a trip. But the good part is that it didn't happen on the way there.
EDIT: just to let you know, I have ignition coils you could use. If you think that might be the problem, we could swap them in no time... but let see what the tech will say.

I think it is more than just the coils because the motor died and would not restart. The coils and plugs were swapped around 10k ago. I know that is enough time for them to replaced. But I'm wondering if the misfiring caused the engine blow. Hopefully I find out today and will keep you guys apprised.

Crap is all I can say, because I know how much you like your car.
Mine is my daily driver, and it has nicks scratches and dents on it, but the new motor in it should push me till the end of days hopefully.

Japanparts is the only company I know that imports Leg Motor Sports products from Japan. It is expensive as well.
CF = $1550

FRP = $1088

I was plagued with loosing power and rpm's nearly everytime I drove it, but it never happened when at the dealer (many many times...). Tonkin wouldn't know a bad engine unless it's already completely toast!!!
And I hope everyone has better luck then me getting a good reman the first time.

Just got off the phone with the dealership. Apparently the PCM has failed. Mazda USA is having the head tech swap it out and run more tests. The dealership wants to swap the motor but they need to provide enough data to Mazda USA so it can be approved.
