The OE rotors rust really easy and all the dust I was experiencing was coming from the vanes.

There are two meets this weekend. Saturday is a rotary meet at Forged Performance. It was a great meet last year. I am busy Saturday so not going. Sunday there is a meet I'm thinking about going. Here is the thread. Interested?

any of you guys know where I could buy a hood like this, either/or, the key thing is that it doesn't have to be Carbon Fiber as I'm going to color match it with my car? CF is too damn expansive, plus I don't like to have different color body parts on my car...

 

Need to think about who produces FRP hoods...

 

I tried searching everywhere, I called bunch of places... they only have fiberglass in different styles, but this is what I like. YOu might have a better luck though, thanks in advance!

 

Corksport has an AutoExe hood but it is going to be pricey. Most the FRP hoods I know are going to come from Japan. But I asked in a thread so let's see if anyone knows anything.

Wow, that is a great looking hood... what's the weight like? Seems like a very worthwhile investment for a turbo'ed car if it's not overly heavy.

The Leg Sport hood is $973 and I'm sure shipping would be more than $300

 

I asked corksport about the autoexe hood about a year ago. I cried myself to sleep and masturbated with my tears at the price of that hood....but I still want it.

I didn't ask. They told me about 1200 last summer for the hood.

 

On another note, this will be one of my last messages from Iraq. We close my FOB on Sunday and move north to turn over all of our equipment and Strykers.....its been a long year.

Settled into my new "home" for 3 weeks...damn tents + triple digit temps = a lot of pissed soldiers. Oh and my units reputation has once again gotten the best of us. We are banned from like 5 buildings here because they are afraid that the "infantry guys will destroy it all"....God I hate this place. Now I need to spend $100 on internet for the next 3 weeks.

 

Well it looks like I might be coming into Seattle on Tuesday. The 18th. I suppose I'll have to stay for a week or two.
