If I could have bought a Vette with 18k miles in pristine condition for $14 k, I would have.
Dumb is relative when paying $14k for a vehicle.

Once again, the title of this particular thread is self-explanatory.
I also think you are having difficulty understanding what 'personal' is as it relates to attacks or insults.

once again my very simple statement is very much mistaken. the corvette statement was made towards the TFWorks car. the 14k statement was made towards some guys in here paying that much for a stock RX8. an 18k mile RX8 can be directly compared to a 150k mile Corvette in terms of reliabiliy. i know yall say you get 100k miles fro your cars but that really cant be comparable when looking at the car in general. there are plenty of 500,000 mile chevy trucks out there but no one will say thats a good.measurement of their reliability bc.of.how few there are.

perhaps youre having trouble reading the title of the section. are you literally that broken hearted that people are getting smart and tossing their roturds in favor of (how do i say this without sounding rude) Isuzu V6s? even a slug like that is far better than the rotary that came out.

LS, I'm referring to loading up every single one of your posts with references to your apparent poop fetish. You are free to have your opinion, and free to argue for your opinion, but your immature language is uncalled for. You are an adult, and should be able to communicate as one.

Grow up or get out.

The rotary guys have no problems communicating as adults. You aren't representing your genre very well at all with the lack of maturity in your posts.

Sure, but with age comes other problems with wear & tear.
Also my comments earlier were to defend a rational view of why some of us are so happy with our 8s in stock form.
Brainwashing has nothing to do with it.
I also think I haven't resorted to anything personal, I try to steer clear of that.
I enjoy good back and forth bantering, but some remarks that are made out of ignorance I don't ignore.
Be aware that 'ignorant' is not an insult in the same vein as 'dumb', or 'stupid'.
I freely admit my ignorance on certain subjects, and admitting it is the only way I can overcome it.

Yes the LS engine line is generally more reliable than a Renesis, I don't think anyone disagrees with that so why do you keep repeating yourself? Do you think that we think the Renesis is a rock solid engine in terms of reliability? Do you read the other posts or just skim thru? The C6 Chassis is Eons ahead of an R3 chassis? In what way? Please enlighten me with your vast knowledge.

I don't get what you're trying to say.
Where does it seem like I'm broken hearted?
If you are seriously saying that the Isuzu swap is going to be better than a Renesis swap, or any other of the*proven rotary engines, you have some credibility issues.

A) Every time someone else has been reminded and corrected, they have not repeated it. You keep returning to it.

B) Can you control yourself? Blaming your immaturity on other people isn't very ... mature. Take responsibility for the one person that you have control over: Yourself. Each person needs to do the same, you aren't an exception. They are also not an excuse.

so every time you correct someone and they fall in line right after? so a new person gets all pissy and then mouths off each time? we have been pretty much the same people in here talking trash the entire time for the duration of this thread. i know people think other people are getting their feelings hurt but its impossible to get the complete context via typing. the only reason i come to this forum is this thread. i enjoy shooting the **** with these guys and the senseless trash talk. almost everything being said in this is in unverifiable and subjective. if any of it was fact then it.wouldnt be.much of an argument. thats why i.enjoy this discussion. truth be told id enjoy this conversation if it was at a bar discussing this. there are a couple puerto rican guys (go figure) in my unit who are rotary die hards that get all riled up everytime i pull up. we talk **** forever about it and never have any real "hostility" bc its easy to determine the context. i think the mods need to loosen up a bit.

I think you fail to grasp what I am actually referring to.

I'm not referring to debating engines or swaps or builds, or even ragging on people about their opinions. I'm refering to specific word usage in your posts. You can communicate your opinions, your preferences, your ragging, and your trolling without getting foul mouthed about it.

Choose more mature language in expressing yourself. This is my last post to you about it.

Guess I can't argue with the supermod anymore in fear of the ban hammer. In other news anyone check out the 20b turbo header that looks like it was welded with melted coke cans? CRRRRAAAACCCKKK!

So much to say and no way to say it nicely- steampipe- strongest mild steel I could find, so I'm not really sure u ACTUALLY have a clue what's used in real performance race engines, but in a high heat hi performance 20b it's the most durable. If ur referring to the tack welds while in design phase, then ur understanding of how to make a REAL manifold is flawed, not much unlike ur POS Holden engine, DH.

Furthermore if a vette chassis is eons ahead of a rx8 the wtf are u doing here?

I suggest u all stop taking this fools bait, arrogant ignorance is very common with the v8 boys, u can't change the dimwitted, (except when u toast em on the track) so why bother.

Feel free to ban me mods, I need a break from this "roturderatorating trash talking, ignoramus anyway.

Btw, where's ur build thread? There's absolutely nothing useful and barely any documentation, at least I'm having a crack. This is MY first build done almost all on my own. I'm very happy with what I've achieved and confident I'd blast ur ******* without breaking a sweat! Plus I'll be racing this for years to come, no reliability issues, oh cos yeh that's right, I'm not cutting corners like some ls conversions I've seen recently.

Well you're badmouthing his car, why shouldn't he be able to explain why he did what he did? You do the same incessantly.

I'm still waiting for you to explain how the C6 Chassis is eons ahead of the R3 chassis.

well it wil whip an RX8s *** aronmund any track even if you stuck it in third. plus how many RX anythings are in racing in Rolex and GT? even more to the point how many in front of the vette. most importantly, just as you somehow justify your $50k+ lil mazda is a good car, i can say that the vette is better than the RX8 in its most powerful best built form.

Actually, in the Rolex series, the RX-8 regularly beat the Corvettes. Handily.

Even within the Chevy cars in Grand-Am, the Camaros regularly beat the Corvettes.

So did the Porsches.

Good luck with that....with mine detuned to 425 I went past a C5 Vette like it was dragging a ton of bricks....

None are currently in the series, the series has a rule that requires that all cars races must have been produced and sold to the public within the last 3 years. The last RX-8 model year was 2011.

Many variants of the Chevy V8 are raced, but you object to several variants of the rotary being raced? The 20b used was actually labeled a "Renesis 20b".

The Rolex series are all tube frame silhouette cars and have little to do with the cars that they look like. For example in the RX8's the transmission is in the back of the car like how a Corvette is configured. Those types of racecars really can't be used to argue about production vehicles.
