Is it possible to replace my out put seal and shifter gasket on my 04 mazda rx8 gt with out dropping the whole tranny? It's the rear seal pretty sure I blew it out

 

Sure.... its just a push in style seal....

So remove fluid... drive shaft and pop the seal out and replace

Shifter stuff can be accessed from above through the console...

 

So it's just the seal on the back part of the transmission but mazda listed it on the quote as the out put seal shifted gasket . . . 1 item I'll take a Pic of leak when I get car in the air and post for better help but thank you if it's just slide out slide in then I can do it this weekend hopefully
