Transmission seals yay or nay?
Going on a black Friday buy out with a new exedy clutch kit and light flywheel. Also got the axialflow short shifter!! I was looking at these seals, rear transmission seal P610-17-335A and front input transmission seal P501-17-881 and a new clutch fork and pivot. Is that going overboard with the seals?? Im thinking the front is good to buy but i don't think the rear is necessary. Thoughts??

I would do rear for sure. When I did my clutch job the rear seal was incredibly brittle. With all the effort it takes to get the car up, pull all the parts out, align the power plant frame on reinstall, etc,, it's just good insurance against leaks to replace any seal you come across.

The rear seal definitely replace, its really easy. The front one only if its really bad or leaking. Reason being is the front one is a ton of work to get to. Unless you are experienced working on transmissions I wouldn't recommend trying unless it had to be replaced and you had no other option. The front one is also less prone to wear unlike the rear seal so it really doesn't need to be touched.
