Virginia poeple...... hello
What's up 7andan8? Got these in the mail two days ago. Nice addition to my ride. Won them on ebay for $23 shipped. Brand new in the wrappers with Japanese instructions and all. Took me a while to figure it out but I think I put them on right.

My husband and I both went to RMC too- we're down in Chesterfield, though, so we don't get out to Ashland much any more.

We used to have an 8 group that occasionally got together in Richmond, but it's kinda slacked off now. You say the hills of VA- moutains? And next time you're down here, if you see a green 8 with an rx-8 club sticker, that's me!
I'm in Blacksburg. I'd be down for a SWVA meet if anyone else south of Richmond and NOVA is down. Maybe a caravan trip to VIR or something. I've been dying for a track day, and I want to check out VIR.
I know, I was slippin. I looked at their schedule like a month ago, and it looked like the season was over for track days and such-nothing was on the Dec. calender.
I'm definitely down for the next one. Hit me up.

event fee is usually $300-$400 for a weekend depending on which club runs it, and add fuel cost to get down there and run on track, and then lodging and food for the driver, I'd say you're looking at a good $500 before you even start modding the car to go faster on the track.
On a much simpler side Alx, the Holiday Run every Christmas is a inexpensive way to get on the track and have a few fun laps. $25 donation gets you a 15-20 minute run (about 4 laps) with a group of cars. A pace car front and rear keeps everyone in check, but the thrill is still there.
As ZoomZoom mentioned, the actual 2 day class weekends are for when you really want to learn to drive your car. Instructors and the whole shebang. I think the last one was $300.

I've been slacking on the NOVA meets. Hopefully we can get another run up skyline drive again in the spring.
I'll keep an eye out for the local meets...maybe some people would like to go have a few drinks after work sometime. Shoot some pool or something. I typically just waste my evenings on XBOX Live anyway.

RX8USMC you'll only need to drive toward the ocean and there you'll find a great bunch ... http://hr8c.com/.
Last night I was home watching movies. The night before however I was at the Best Buy in central park and saw a fellow with a white turbo 10AE rx7 FC. Beautiful car. ^^ Got his number and quickly lost it. Story of my life. lol
There are a couple of 8er's in F'burg that I know of Ell, one of them resides at RX8web.com. I'm in the Central Park area when I travel through, should be back in two weeks. I'll look for you then.
