I don't have any problems seeing out the back, but headlights seem to be a little brighter than they were before.

Hell yeah, I am all up for a meet around Richmond. I was talking someone else on another thread about meeting up on Wednesday night with some Scions?

I remember having 5% on my old POS Fuckus. (I know big jump) But yeah it was a big huggle at night driving around. Now I had 20% on my Integra but that didn't pose nearly problem as 5% did.

I've got 35% on the rear quarters and the rear window. The autodim works well with that, but when it's dimmed, you don't see much other than headlights behind you (pretty much like flipping a mirror manually). Overall, I haven't had trouble with it. I kept VA legal 50% on the sides and while it doesn't look as good, it lets me see pretty well at night for turning & merges.

BTW, as to the hr8c.com site, Dan AKA vIce^gRip has been too busy to tend to it, but he is keeping track of the new registrations and said he'll post them when he gets time.

Yeah thanks for the information on the tint. I have been thinking about having it done. But I am starting to figure that since the windows are so small anyway, there may be no point to do it unless it is for looks. My friend made a good point however, he mentioned that he would want people to be able to look in the car to see who is driving such a beautiful dream. Ahhhh.... How cute.

But guys really, lets set something up for this week. I am completly up for meeting other owners and see what you guys have going on. I live in Richmond. I know a few of you are located else where, but we could meet somewhere half way.

Also, I dunno if you guys have this problem as well. But I have people asking what kind of car it is. I guess they think it some kind of exotic vehicle or something. Kind of cute. But when they hear it a Mazda their like "huh?"

Friday would be best for me being that I have drill sat & sunday but ummm I believe the burg would probably be the most ideal/halfway spot throw some suggestions out there all & lets get something started...

Everyone knows there is nothing "halfway" between Hampton Roads and Richmond. West point maybe? Don't they have a population of like 4? Potentially Williamsburg, but that could be too far for the Richmond folk to be halfway.

Tint issues - I have 35% sides 20% back. Got it done at a tinting shop in VA beach(TNT tinting A++work!), they guarantee lifetime work, looks fantastic. I have no issues with it at all (to include my mirror) but do keep in mind VA legal is 50% sides 35% back.

***thread jack***
I read about a new service recall for the 8, considering I'm in Iraq, I'm going to have my little bro take the car in. But I haven't had any experience back home with any of the dealers. All my work was either done in NC or northern VA. Any of you guys recommend any dealers on the Hampton/Newport News side of the water? I couldn't find any other threads talking about VA dealers that wasn't talking completely about northern VA

1stgen I swear one day I'm gonna read about you and the Ms. in the local paper! She must be a saint!

I think I get away with buying stuff cause I always encourage her to buy whatever she wants....reverse psychology. She'll go on about it for a fews days then say she doesn't care cause I never listen anyway....imagine that. I won't say this too loud but a (clean and well runnning) second gen RX7 and camden sc for $2500. I can't pass up this deal. I'm just waiting on my buddy to say..."Come and get it."

It is sad that in a city as big as Richmond, no one will ride around with this young lady!

I'd love to go for a drive, but during the week is bad for me. Not only that, but the inside of my car is sitting on the workbench.
