Virginia poeple...... hello
So I was going to be on time for once at work, until I walked out to my car this morning to this. No idea where that piece of cr@p came from. Any idea how much this would cost to fix? I am not so worried about this dents because I know those are like $75 a pop, but the chipped paint worries me.
Do you think I should replace the whole fender, rather than just have the dings fix and the paint fulled? Do you think they would have to repaint the whole fender or just fill it in? I am kind of new to this.
The paint will need to be feathered in to the surroundings, or it will be noticable. Be careful of a body shop that wants to paint the whole fender, as it will probably not match out. I know a good body shop down in the Lynchburg area, PM me if interested.

Yeah I have called Mazmart to see if they had anything and a few other places, but it seems like I am going to have to do some shopping for the next couple of days. Too bad this happened on a Friday when all the repair shops and etc are going to be closed for the weekend.
I just bought a 2004 RX-8 GT out in Roanoke a few weeks ago, however I am from the Richmond, Va area. We bought this RX-8 to replace our 2006 Mazda3, haha. The RX-8 is our new family ride.... we have a 1 year old daughter. I figured we had to enjoy this while we could. It is fully loaded except navigation.......had only 5700 miles on it! Automatic tranny, not really by my choice, but easier for the wife to drive. She drives it 90% of the time anyhow.

fresh meat! RELEASE THE HOUNDS!!! Just kidding man. Welcome. I went to Roanoke a bunch as a kid and watched some outdoor play about Indians or something. My memory ain't so hot. Nice place though. Glad to have you.
As a update, it turns out a friend on mine is a auto body repair guy for BMW and Mercedes. It seems were going to go one of two ways: He is going to try and find me a fender from a junk yard or just take care of it the traditional way. Should cost me less than $300. It's not even worth going through insurance. Wish me luck.
Thought I would just add that I purchased the 1:18 Die Cast RX8 from www.rx8strakes.com for about $70 and it is awesome. I had a really hard time finding one, so I gave in and purchased it. Great product, even has carpet, the engine cover comes off, and great small details like metal rotors, etc.
