Holy sheep dip man, there's a boatload of us! While you're considering a meet (especially in Tyson's) check out the Mazda Sportcar Club of Washington. http://www.mscw.com/ We meet monthly and do all manners of stuff, like Autocrosses, track events, scenic drives, local discounts, etc. etc. etc.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, Nov 1, in a place called Tyson's Corner (small world, eh?) We meet at the Fuddruckers on 1587 Spring Hill Road, one block south of Route 7 (behind Rosenthal Mazda/Nissan).

Check out the Web site and come on by!

- Paul

yeah there are, a whole bunch of them

the trick is getting 'em all together and actually talk cars lol

mscw is a good start, i'll try to make a visit next week (Nov. 1)

btw they have changed their 'meeting' area to the Comfort Inn next door, but the pre-meeting parking lot chit chat is still the same spot though

Yeah, people show up with all kinds of things. We all share interest in the same cars. And the Miata types are pretty cool too.

Yeah i know, but if things go well, they will fly me from new york and then have an onsite interview to see if they want to hire me.

I will have to wait until monday morning and see how it goes. My experience really matches up with what they are looking for. How expensive is fairfax? I wanted to live around that area. Besides that, if i get the job my girl friend want to transfer to george mason for law.

Any one has an in for her if it gets to that point?

compared to Albany, Fairfax is about 50-60% more expensive in terms of housing expenses (think $1500 a month for something you'd rent for $1000 up there), food/gas/consumer expenses is probably about the same if you're thrifty

and no i don't have 'an in' for your gf to get into GMU law school

There's TONS of RX-8's by me in Herndon/Fairfax. I'm an ex RX-7 owner, but love the RX-8's as well. I might just have to make it to the Tysons Meet.
