Well I just found out why the cops are rolling by this year. A bunch of so called drifters and Miata boys were in the area. Idiots decided to drift around a van and cops rolled up. This is why we cant have good things. Idiots like to ruin it for others.

Meets across the country have died out..... Cops, blown engines, gas money.

Thursday night at edgewater NJ always goes on but with moody cops that's always a gamble too.

 

I haven't been to a meet in like a month.

Anyone got a location cop free we could meet at? Its really not that serious for cops to **** with us if our cars are parked.

 

Yeah it seems like years, I haven't been to a meet, I might even be force to go to civivs and hondas, and integra meets lol

Preston (Darkness8) is hosting a BBQ & cruise on AUG 20th... His father was nice enough to let us all park on his front lawn which is big enough to park over 20+Cars.....

Last month I went to the meet up at JPR imports.

I've been looking for local meets but NJ is a little far considering my work schedule - usually work late.

But I could drive down to Queens if something takes place there.

ever since that time that asshat cop ruined the party(I wasn't there that day) now it seems that no one wants to come out anymore.

Funny thing is, they don't arrest the 2f2f wannabes, instead they just love to pick on easy target (us) damn asswipes.

 

Damn, i only got to go to 1 meet with you guys before everyone started NOT to show up. Kinda sucks being that i bought my 8 not too long ago and i moved from FL a few months ago. I met some of you guys but some i didn't really get to speak with. Learned a lot from just that 1 day i met.

Do you guys ever get together here in NY and go on a caravan around the boroughs (Queens, BX, BK ETC. or anything like that? IN OTHER WORDS, Do you guys ever take over the streets of NY even if its for a litle bit. lol?

*A little disclaimer, sometimes there are alot of cops in the lot. On thursday nights, the lot in front of starbucks is usually full of ********. Not all ******** but they are there and they ruin the whole thing for everyone. When the ******** start acting up, the cops respond. If we keep to ourselves and don't do anything stupid like blasting loud music or doing burn outs, we should be fine. If we park in another section of the lot, we should be able to avoid trouble. When you're near the destination, try not to speed. Cops are on the look out, usually for bikers.



I think this would be a great opportunity to hang out. The place is very close to Manhattan and serves as a great midpoint for everyone. There is also a hookah bar nearby if we need any beers and hookahs I guess.
