Just had my alignment done ($150 -__-)... On the way home I noticed a rattle coming from the rear suspension on bumps, more so on the right rear. I checked if there are any loose bolts for the arms, and nothing. Can anyone assist me on this?

only on bumps or other times too? when was the first time u noticed the sound? do u have stock suspensions with stock ride height? did they do full alignment?

1- im going to a car meet on long island tonight with a friend, sorry wont make it out to queens. Let me kniw if you want to join us out here....

2- saynotopistons- are your shocks/springs oem? Ever been removed? If the top nut on the shock column comes loose (should use a bit of loktite on it) it will get progressively worse and sound like a loud clunking sound coming from the rear speaker deck when you go over bumps. Ifsomeone sits in the back seat they will swear its the speaker area, but trust me its not? If that sounds like your problem, pm me I might be able to help, I had that once. If youre on the stock suspension its very unlikely.

It is lowered on Progress Tech springs (1.2 and 0.8 rear), stock shocks and sways. It is only on bumps. Right before I got my alignment, I noticed a slight noise but it was only once or twice towards the end of my nearly 2 hr long drive to get my alignment. It became even worse after the alignment and I would hear it on almost every bump.

I do not notice the sound if my windows are closed. If my windows are open, I can pin point it to the right rear. I cannot say for sure that the left rear is fine because I can only hear the clunking when the sound bounces off walls or other cars to my side.

I drove the car two hours home after the alignment. Set the rear end up once I got home to check for any loose bolts with the only simple tools I have (short socket ratchet) and was unable to find anything significantly loose.

so im not gonna pretend i know what ur problem is but i can tell u about my experience. if it is a double consecutive sound like *ding *ding (which i had when i did stock shocks with lowering springs) it could be that the rubber in between the the springs and the mount is not sitting right or need to be replaced. if it is a single sound and the car does not seem like its going down and up even a little bit on the bumps then it could be the bump stop u are using is stock and will not work properly with the lowering springs (this happened to me too). eventually my shocks gave out and it was making rattling noises on bumps even the slightest ones. so now i got full coil-overs got an alignment but the *** wipe didn't calculate my camber for the height change. after some tire ware and bad launches i did my own research and brought the alignment guy my numbers so he can put that measurements on the car.

I have a pair of OEM endlinks but I dont know if they are front or rear. I've been through so many i forget where i took these off from lol. Look up the lengths so I can tell them apart, and send me the measurement, if it's a pair of fronts you can have them.

Hey everyone. Finally back in town. Got my car back from Speedtek down in L.I.. Awesome job by those guys down there. New Eibach Lowering Springs, New Struts and end Links. Are you guys not meeting anymore or something?

I have a question for those that own or have knowledge on the Borla Exhaust. Does the Borla Weight less than the stock exhaust? If you where to knock on the exhaust part of the Borla exhaust that says BORLA in big will it sound like it is empty inside compare to the stock Exhaust? thx

Yes, I have it and it sounds great. Borla also has a REALLY good warranty, jsut buy it new. I had to get mine replaced and they did it right away, no questions asked.

It weighs less than the stock exhaust by quite a bit. I think it's about 25 pounds, vs stock is I thnk 43. There is a stickied page, i forget what it's called, but it lists the weights of all aftermarket exhausts, go check that to be sure.

I have no idea what you're talking about about knocking on it haha
