So the worst thing just happen to me.. My car battery was dead so I hook up the jumper cable to my friends car and I told my girl to hold the other side. As I open my door my girl said she's gonna hook up the cables so I said sure.. (Wrong thing to say) once she said she connect it I turn the key and my alarm goes crazy my head lights turn on and I don't hear any sound like the engine is turning.. Once I notice that, I get out of the car and i hear my girl go OPS I knew she put the jumpers on the wrong terminals i switch the cables around trying to start it and the same thing I don't hear it turn and the dash is going crazy my alarm and hazard light go on... My question is how much is it to fix? ... I'm so pissed off right now!

 

holy ****, so you are telling me you swap the terminal, instead of 12v you totally short your car ...

if u're lucky the fuse caught it and burned, then it will be easy. otherwise ... jesus.

it almost happened to me one time, lucky me the cable wasn't long "enough" for some reason, then when I look at it I was like holy **** I almost **** my car up and the other car I was about to jump.

 

Damn thats not good. Any update though?
