Queens NYC Thursday Night Weekly Meet

Date: Every Thursday

Location: Flushing Meadows Park (parking lot under the Van Wyck Expy)

Time: 8pm till whenever everyone leaves.

So as many of you know there are a lack of meets in the boros and i suggested having a meet in Queens and to my surprise there was a good amount of interest

After some opinions and suggestions this is what we have come up with.

We had our first meet Yesterday and it was a pretty good turn out. there were 5 Rx-8's, 1 FB, and 1 FD. So once again i just wanna thank you guys for coming through. We had Rotorheads come from Deep Long Island to the Bronx. So big up to Gh8st, DJ NADA, sinned2545, Youwonder, TOMCATS8, and The1nd0nlii for coming through.

Next time we'll bring chairs and ill bring my propane grill so we can have some BBQ :)

For people with GPS or NAVI put in College point blvd & 58th rd. it should take you to the spot on the map. i also made a ghetto route to lead you guys lol. BTW all major highways are really close by.

had mad fun, definitely got to get a shortshifter and syncosaver!!

short shifter first! synchro saver can wait. Tell him blue. that AFEss really makes a big difference

gh8st speaks the truth. lol

plus if you were to get the syncrosaver now then youd have to re adjust it after you got the short shifter. so just get the shifter first.

if i bring the grill yall can bring some stuff to. theres not many of us so 1 pack of hot dogs or burgers each aint much money. :)

and theres also a western beef like half a mile down that block.

We don't need food for this meet. Restaurants in Flushing are open late. Can't wait to finally make it to a meet. See you all next week.

Yeah man. I have a FD and a subie. Subie is for sale and FD is out of commission at the momment but I'm pretty sure I'll get it back to bring it to a meet.

LOL, its not bad compared to others i've had. The Thursday after i'm off but I have plans and might not make it.

The 7 is detuned for 450 street use. 510 on high boost and going for 650 this week;)

Subie is selling for $25000. Mods alone cost more than $25Gs. Currently featured in RIX magazine.

i love the subie....if i have extra money, i would buy it..LOL

and i decided to make it weekly just so we can get better turn outs and people will get familiar faster. plus we can always gauge interest each week. so if no one wants/cant show up on a certain thursday then we can let everyone know that itll be canceled or whatever.

and you aint gotta come EVERY week, just come when you can. but havin your FD there to stare at is always nice :) lol
