BTW, I've been talking with the Mazdaspeedforum and Clubroadster (Miata) guys about a possible combination of our meets. They do Thursday at Douglaston then they move to Dunkin Donuts later on for munchies (within 5 mins of Douglaston). I have brought up concerns about getting kicked out of Douglaston since I have heard from a few that authorities MIGHT not like car meets there.

If Douglaston is a go for car meets, I think it is quite suitable for us to merge to that location. It is a very sheltered parking complex/plaza. There are stores for us to lurk around if need be during the meet.

 

Seems like a great idea....since people dont always come to our meets merging would make it bigger and worth going to even if people from rx8club dont show.

Whoever wants to come with me before our Flushing meet to scope out Douglaston at 7-7:30PM is more than welcomed to.

 

Sorry for the confusion, but I've never been to these meetings in the past. So I don't know where the 'old place' is, or where the 'joint meetings' usually take place.

So for simplicity, where are the guys with the RX-8s meeting this week?!?! LOL

Would you mind posting a specific address or name of a place? I would be traveling from Westchester.

Also adding to confusion is the issue of the meeting time. RX-8 people meet between 9:30-10:00pm, then joint meeting is at 7:30pm

It sux that the meet ups are far from me..... I live in yonkers so if anyone knows of any rotary or 8 meet up let.me know cuz it seems like im the only one with an 8 in this city...... JAyr....

Plus does anyone got a cobb for sale or one they can let me borrow? you would need to unmarry it from your car for a few days but ill pay you some cash or whatever -- need it to get an inspection.

 

If its for a midpipe i did the non fouler trick worked good enough to let me pass. It lasted 400 miles without a cel, but the cel comes and goes.

 

Whats the non fouler trick? I would try anything i need an inspection by may 1st.....dont feel like buying a stock mid pipe or changing it just to get an inspection done thats why i asked for a cobb.
