I'm good, doin' better than ever imo.
As for the socal crew - they've seen better days. Most of the group has disbanded but some of the originals are still around.
A lot of n00biez poppin' up in the area tho which makes things a bit more interesting...

Douglaston Plaza is ~5min east on the LIE from the regular Flushing Meadows Park spot. We meet by the Macy's in the lower level of the plaza when the weather is bad. Otherwise it will be the top level of the plaza/parking structure.

It is where the Cross Island Parkway intersects with the LIE.
The Douglaston meet starts at 7:00PM on Thursdays
Please, no douche baggery, burn outs, revving, no littering, etc, etc. This is not OUR meet. For now we are simply guests to a meet at Douglaston that has been going on for 5 yrs without a problem.

lol hey atleast i parked in the other lot!!!.
when alot of rotaries show up its usually rotary parking only in a lot. lol
i remember we had like a checkpoint and some of us were just telling non rotary vehicles to park in either side lot. lol

Yes. Tomorrow night we will be meeting at Douglaston.
My presence tomorrow is questionable. Yes, I know, it's a dick move for me to suggest it and not go during the first outing. Unfortunately my grandmother was admitted to the hospital and I gotta do what I gotta do tomorrow night... Sorry, guys...

hey I actually went today, I was an hour late but the miata guys said 2 rx8's had left to go to a bar :/ maybe i'll see you guys next week. I'm bringing a friend as well with his 8.

yeah it was a bit awkward being the only 8 there, but the people were really cool. If we are meeting at another spot please tell me the details, in regards to time and location.
