Decided against it. Been baking in the sun all day washing the cars. Plus I finally got my new Covercraft Techalon Evo cover on it. Had a similarly priced (~$220) Covercraft Noah that blew off last season and was found at the end of my block during a storm.. That went to the trash -_-... Before that, I had a universal fit $100 cover that has been with us since 1999 (when we had our Mazda MPV). It finally tore to shreds after years of UV treatment.

 

Not going to make it tonight, to hot, but the game tonight is the real reason why I'm not coming

Didn't make it yesterday, trying to fix my Sonata's bumper, gotta wait for it to cure a bit and put it back on.

 

ehh too hot me and johans went to a bar. Almost got a summons for doing doughnuts -.-. "Officer I accidentally released the clutch pedal and lost control; in the frenzy I slammed the gas instead of the brake. TY PBA card, got away with a warning.

 

What's up with this thursday guys? Who's coming out? I'm thinking of it depending on how many other 8s are coming. The douglaston spot is mostly speed3s from what I saw a few Thursday's ago.

Maybe we should just go to the old spot. Personally I've never been there but wouldn't mind going if other 8s are gonna be there. Seemed like the Speed3 and miata guys mainly stuck to themselves anyway.

Were actually heading to the College Point location in the OP of the thread. Atleast thats where i'll be and about 4 more members from here hopefully.

The Douglaston spot seemed kinda dead and didnt have too many rotaries. So College Point is gonna be the return of the rotary this Thursday night lol.. Hopefully.

 

We should do the Doug Alston meet for now, because I'm not sure if the rx7s are coming out, (eveone probably rebuilding there engines or still in hibernation) I should join the rx7 site to se what and if they gonna ever come out lol,

So yeah I'm gonna go to the Douglaston location around 8, hopefully see you guys there too? I'm really a big fan of the whole Mazda community, I like nice miatas and speed 3's too, and I have a buddy coming with a miata.

If folks are going to be at the college point spot too, I'll roll over there around 10 to say hi, it's really close by.
