DANG I forgot I had a link to this video...

On the front straight at a VIR HPDE event, a Viper *barely* misses taking out a BMW. From the BMW's in-car cam. Listen for the BMW driver's comments afterwards.

HAHAHA, looking forward to it. Which session was it again? 1st or 2nd? 2nd session was right after I changed the alignment settings and was trying to cope with the changes -> was a little hairy there at the beging I didn't expect it to make that much difference, not all good though... I think I need to get my toe zeroed out to give the new setting a fair shake (toe-in gets added when you add negative camber). Right now the care is noticable twitchy (especialy over bumps).

I'm still in the process of figuring out my power loss problem that struck in 3rd session on Sunday, but I'm 90% sure it's related to the SSV (secondary intake port) based on the symtoms I'm having. I'll post a full detailed description of the problem later this week when I know more.

Paul, I have some great footage of your spin. I was following pretty close at the time and have all of it on tape. From the time your right rear goes off until you backed down to my left... I will capture, upload and hopefully have it on Google Video by Thursday or Friday of this week. Craig

Fantastic! It'll be a great learning tool - "Don't Do This!"

Looked over past events schedules and looks like they run 3 25 minute events a day for HPDE 1,2 and 3 groups. Not as much as the MDA event but worth trying.

For those of you interested, this is the tread with the details of my "massive power loss" issue that was first noticed on Sunday 3rd session:
https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=99252sfaj
Unfortunately the Mazda serviec people haven't figured it out yet, and it is still unresolved.

Sounds like a great time had by all. I heard much about this track and sounds like it is worth the drive.

What group/org. ran this? How many days? Cost? How many sessions/day? How were the groups divided up?

- Mazdadrivers.com
- Saturday and Sunday
- ~ $300, not counting hotel room. Special hotel rate for the group.
- 4 sessions per day, each 25-30 minutes. Includes classroom instruction and in-car instructor.
- Groups divided by skill level (I assume by # of HDPE events attended)

This was my 4th event with Mazdadrivers.com - they run well-organized and safe events. Their next will probably be late winter or early spring. Check their Web site for more info.

Hi all. I just pulled my cel codes this week and I also got the P0336 code. So when you guys pulled the codes what did you have to do to fix this one? I know what the code means but what did you have to do to fix it? Is this mean I need to get the upgraded ignition coils?
