well Jon, as I am in the process of shopping for my first house, you officially have terrified me that multiple parts of the house will break all at the same time. I guess I never considered that Murphy's law would apply to home ownership also... damn.

And, on a personal note, a friend of mine was recently in the Philly PA area and picked me up a few cases of Yuengling. So it has been hard to go out and drink anything other than that recently... though nothing seems quite as nice as a rolling rock on a hot summer day. Problem with that is that they go down WAY too easy.

Seems like everyone is in the housing market. Sheesh! Anywho...as I said the other day on the other forum...my sis would kill me if she found out I didn't say something. My sis is currently trying to sell her house in South Euclid so she can move closer to her bf in Canton. Currently she is looking for $140K...but said she would come "a BUNCH" if no realtors were involved. If you want more info let me know.

I wouldn't worry... its just the drunken idiots they had building Akron houses.
I literally found three beer bottles in my upstairs bathroom, two in the wall and one under the tub.
This explains why nothing in the house is built correctly!

We would like to start house shopping next year. We really liked living in Cuyahoga Falls, so we'll more than likely move back.
Plus the cost of housing is decent... cities north of Cuyahoga Falls have the cost of living spiked much higher, so its the closest to work I can get without going bankrupt.

I'm going to be moving back into my Apartment in Bowling Green on Friday. So unless you guys are meeting up before 9am I won't be able to. However I will come back to town for the next one. The girlfriend still lives in Tallmadge so I will be back often enough.

 

Perfect... after a nice long day of moving, you can relax at the bar and then pass out at the girlfriend's!

 

I'm either mounting my wheels/tires that night or I'll be there. Depends 100% on whether or not Rishie's shipped the wheels but his email looks like it's been down (I literally just got the bounce notice).

That's like me saying that I may come if I'm not clipping my toe nails that night.

 

Got someone giving me free tires and mounting them for free. I'm not gonna get real picky about when he's available to do it so its either Friday or Saturday assuming I even get my wheels by then. Rishie's DNS expired so emails are bouncing. He said he was sure they would go out on Monday but I've heard that line from just about everyone in the auto parts industry.

Besides I've been out every night since last Thursday including last Friday at the Greasy Italian Feast where I ended up doing entirely too many shots of Southern Comfort (yum but not a good Saturday AM). That'll probably continue tonight after my golf league. I'm hoping I get to stay home on Thursday. It's not like Fridays are some special night I get to get away...

 

I have a full 1.75L bottle of Southern Comfort in my bar.... yum yum

 

I'm still here! I wouldn't mind coming out on friday, but the woman and I are planning some hangout together time for tomorrow and friday. I start class again next week and between classroom time and clinical rotations I'm going to be a busy guy.....for the next two years. So it's kind of our 'chill-out' time before things get crazy.

 

Two years and clinical rotations sound like EMT-P (Paramedic) training.
