Akron/Cleveland 8 Owners.
Against my better judgement, I called Park Mazda of Wooster - I was able to snag a handful of discount tickets, no freebies left
So come Saturday and whoever plans on going, I can meet you outside of the show and give you the discount tickets at that time (considering people will be showing up at random times). PM me if you need my cell number.. or just call Brian if you have his too lol

I can run out there and pick them up if you'd like. I'm a little close than you are to wooster... I miss those guys. I think they're very competent and helpful. In fact, I would recommend that dealership to all my friends and family. Their sales staff is top notch, and the techs are knowledgeable and thorough and rarely cut corner due to lazyness or ignorance.
I'm going up to the autoshow tomorrow with a friend from out of town, and then up again on saturday to hang out with the car club dorks and get some margaritas after...
I am interested to see how that tool works. I have a guy that is interested in the fuel sending unit which is located on the Passanger side of the fuel tank but I need the same tool. I couldn't get it loosened with clamps or some massive channel locks that I have. . .

I won't be around tonight, but I can meet you either Fri or Sat. I will be sharing your margarita Sat so we can exchange then, or call me on Fri and we can meet with it. Just don't let Kristen get hold of your margarita. I've seen that girl drink.
The tool locks on those fins to open the top.

You and Wheelee saw me! I live in Cleveland Heights.
And I kow I'm late to the party, but I'm in the "get some snow tires and drive the car in the winter" crowd (obvs, since y'all saw me a couple weeks ago). I bought the car because I love driving and want to have fun doing it, and a winter beater means I spend four to six months of the year in a car I don't like. Pass. Until I have enough disposal income to get something fun as a winter car (a friend of mine swears by his Porsche SUV), then I'm driving the RX8.

Welcome - I have the Yellow 8 who seems to see you around the Whole Foods area. I'm over in Bratenahl. I drive mine year 'round too.
Ooohhh SNAP!

Is this like pick on steve week or something?
Wheelee, have fun at the Casino! Leave the title for the 8 at home though... it wouldn't look good as a wager on a poker table.

LOL - I don't think they would give you casino credits unless you showed them all of the TSB stickers in the door jams and under the hood were up to date.

With the beautiful sun out I couldn't help it... the 8 is back on the road!
I got to use my tow hooks for the first time since my car was "stored" on my father's front lawn about 4' from the driveway.
Had to pull it out with my truck.
1st thing I had to do was get gas... not used to paying $3/gal, though my truck wasn't really light on the wallet either.
And my car has an issue! I'm not used to working out a problem on my own car... weird.
My passenger-side window won't go down.
Neither the switch on the driver's door or the passenger's door work, so I have to pull out the electrical diagram and troubleshoot this.
I might put in my new HU with the Axxess iPod adapter today.
I tore down two front calipers I got from Steve's donor so I can clean it up, get the red paint off, and repaint it black.
My front calipers seized a couple years ago and I gave the float pins a quick and dirty clean/grease, but I know I'm on borrowed time.
It was nice to drive with the sunroof and window open with it being a warm 38 degrees.
Anyway... hope you guys had fun at the Autoshow.
Start thinking of s good date for our next meet!

Ive actually heard of that happening to a few people Jon. If I remember correctly in the 04 water got through the window and into the window motor connection. Fixed with some contact cleaner.
Anyone free tomorrow that wants to brave my speed bumps and help me swap out my midpipe for the cat?
