32k miles on a 9 year old car? I doubt hardly any one has ever seen it being driven before. Good find though.
Read up on some the special needs that the '04s and '05s had, they're worth being aware of.
I've been reading quite frequently. Flooded her once and that was more then enough haha. Once the weather warms up the ignition system is getting replaced for sure.
Kind of a big jump in cars for me, haha. My last car was an 02 cavalier.

I am from Avon and I have only seen a couple Titanium Gray 8's but one is a 40th and the other is always driven by an old man that doesn't wave back. Is your car a 6 speed? Do you have any plans for it?
Wouldn't buy anything other then a manual. Only plans so far are preventative stuff. I really need to get that Walmart battery out of there, (another reason I doubt it's from anyone here ) and change out the coils to bhrs. I've got another season on the stock rims and the tires on those, so new wheels and tires will wait until next spring. I do want to lower it, and my front bumper needs replaced (dent and quite a few scratches). It's so easy to spend money on this car.

Yeah sounds like you have your head on straight. Everyone here has a story or two about plugs and coils I'm sure. I haven't decided whether or not I am gonna just pay for a shop to put my shock and spring combo on yet because of everyone being so busy and me being too big of a ***** to tackle it myself so if I do you are more than welcome to come learn along side me.

They are loose from each other. I have Koni yellows and s-techs. It would be nice if I had some random OEM hardware laying around to build the set ahead of time to speed up the process.

I wondered who that was. I was like this whole parking lot and this guy had to park next to me. Haha. But thanks man! She needs some work though. Front bumper needs work, and yesterday before I hit the eye doctor I backed into some ice and broke my exhaust shroud. Got another one on the way from mazmart. Haha.

Independence day? It's an rx-8 not a '70 challenger R/T you drive twice a year. I drive mine year round. With blizzaks the car performs great in any condition. Potholes aren't a problem. The handling takes care of that. And salt washes off in a carwash. I've driven mine through 3 winters now and not a single problem. I replaced a dying battery 3 months ago with a red top and the car starts better than before. I've driven the car in snow so deep I was pushing it with my airdam (lowered on koni and s-tech) and never a moment of lost traction unless I did it deliberately. I also drive a sport so no traction or stability control. The 8 does just fine in winter conditions.

I've no doubt the car performs perfectly in the winter. Salt is only one issue for me... the other would be the idiot drivers whom you can never count on to not run into you because they've got no common sense and even less skill at driving in the winter. Two weeks ago i was heading south on 241, in the Green area to where they put in that round-about... it was snowing and the roads maybe had 1/4" of snow on them... mostly slush because it was melting. Anyway, the guy in front of me was going way too fast and blew the turn into the circle... tried to make it a straight-through. lol. i slow down and get stopped right at the entrance to the circle so as not to get into the mess he created and the guy behind me was also driving too fast... some how got himself sideways and slid into me. Did zero damage to the crv but the wheel of my spare tire left a nice circular gouge in the side of his van.
So yea, i prefer to keep my baby in the garage so as to avoid any more corrosion than absolutely necessary as well as away from the retards who lose their minds when there is half of a percent of precipitation.

Saw a titanium grey 8 at the intersection of Fulton and Hills and Dales. Had a terrible body kit, betting cut springs the way it bounced and skirted the the turn and some awful fart cannon exhaust on it. It sounded like the car was screaming, "Please wreck me! Someone please wreck into me!" as the guy failtastically tried to speed away from the intersection. oh that poor car. it needs set on fire and put out of its misery.

Intro
I just found this sub-forum. I didn't know there were any other 8 owners out here. I live in Cortland just north of Warren and have only seen another 8 a handful of times. I Have only ever seen a red gt drivin by an gentleman who appeared to be in his 50's and a sunlight silver that parks near Fizek at the Eastwood mall. I was beginning to think I was all alone. I am totally down to get together this summer. I always make it to the Canfield Swap Meets and to Summit's Scratch and Dent sale weekends.

Interesting letter I got today in the mail. I am not sure what to make of it. Has anyone here had any experience with a dealership by the name of Montrose? Please reply if you have heard anything about them.
