Adam, did you get a tracking number when you ordered the appearance lip from that ebay store? I paid for one on sunday and haven't got one.

Btw does anyone know what size the bolts are that attach the air dam to the bumper. Need to drill some holes for the air dam but I'm not sure what size.

Im not sure what size they are but I know they are fairly small. Maybe an 1/8 inch or so. Make sure you get them in the right place but if you dont they will be covered anyway.

I think I will be having another photoshoot with the car this Friday. Hopefully it all works out, you guys will be sure to like the pictures.

 

Finally got those last bolts put in for the coilovers today lol!

My 8 never had the holes drilled for the appearance lip so I will be drilling those on friday, pending that the lip even arrives.

I will be there all day Saturday until about 2:30 so just call when you get close, I'll pm you the address.

 

Sam's 8 is very clean. I was staring pretty hard :o thought I saw some blue tipped exhaust too. I'm ready to start modding soon...


Has anyone ever had to break into their glove compartments? I locked mine and now the dang thing won't unlock and I need to get in there lol

 

AJ, the meet doesnt even really start until 3, so youre leaving before it starts? Lots of people seem to be coming down early idk why.

Never have had that problem with the glove compartment.

I ordered my new lugs and strut bar the other day, hopefully it all looks good.

Are you just going with springs for now?

 

yeah as for right now i'm just doing springs, i am going with the megan racing springs which claim a 1.75" drop in the front and 1.5" in the rear. i may do coilovers down the road

 

Just keep in mind that the stock suspension wasn't made for that spring and drop. It will wear the stock struts out faster but if it is only temporary then you should be fine.

 

i am aware of that, but i may buy tokico shocks and not coilovers, so many options haha

 

Just think of it as that extra push to make you get some new struts/coilovers lol
