Just ran over a boat seat on the highway tonight. My lip is destroyed and so is the undertray. Not sure if my insurance will do anything.I do have full coverage.

Between my suspension woes and all the road hazards hurting cars, I'd think someone's got it out for us this spring.

It surely sounds like it. Lets see, Me, Cole, AJ, and Chris all have had body damage recently. And then you, and James selling his 8 and also that other guy.

LOL we are all doomed.

Someone moved into my dorm with an 8 with some ugly *** chromer's this week.

Took the car to the body shop today. Not sure of an estimate, but they are repainting the whole rear bumper, and doing touch up on some other parts on the car for me.

Cole, estimate for my bumper was a little over 600 I think for my body shop. Make sure they don't try to sell you the cheaper 'recycled material' bumper, my body shop advised against it.

I don't think they will need to replace the bumper. The bumper really wasn't dented much, just messed up the paint. The quarterpanel was dented a little though.

I'm out for Saturday. The big reason for doing it then was to put the lowering springs on my car, and that won't be an option until I get the car back from the body shop. I am taking it in on Monday.

Just an FYI. The parts guy at Bommarito Mazda on Lindbergh saved me about $150 on the undertray compared to some of the other prices I found. It was pretty easy to replace after I hit a piece of wood on 141.

I ended up getting one for 200 shipped to me, pretty reasonable. I also found a factory OEM lip kit for 150+50 shipping. Ill most likely just buy that and then have the bumper repainted and shave off the badges. So pretty much the exact same look I had just with fresh paint and no badge.

Hmm ... pay someone (dealership) to replace bushings, or buy new lower control arms and replace myself ... tough call.

Are you going to the meet on the 7th?

Also today I took out my oil catch can and all the stuff that was needed to support it. I think it looks a lot cleaner. So im gonna replace that I think. If anyone wants it let me know I may sell it.
Thank you sir. And yes, I'm going to try and make it out.. Haven't thought about food yet though, ha.

yea there were quite a few people out there...but most were SLOW, pretty sure a few of them wouldnt have gotten a speeding ticket doing a run through downtown STL...people who run 17s are just wasting gas.

Anyone know of a reputable body shop in the area. Need to have my new sides fitted and painted.

Rotary Cruise next weekend. Saturday. It will be nice to see you all there.

Whos all meeting at Shop N Save?

Im in need of a bodyshop soon too. Thinking the week after the cruise or something. Im going the OEM route again since it was the cheapest. Also anyone looking to get an OEM apperance package I found a place where the whole kit can be had for 600 painted to match. All OEM parts. My front lip was only 150 plus shipping. But its 50 more if you want color matched.
