rx8 + snow and ice is a bad combination. I'm waiting for it to clear up before I head back to Columbia.

heres the thread Adam: https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-parts-sale-wanted-44/enkei-rpf1-18x9-5-45-w-255-40-18-toyo-t1rs-%241150-shipped-227309/

So update about the garage thing. The guy still has it but my dad has his car parked there. So its nice i get the whole garage to myself. The guy is trying to sell his house to move to florida but nobody is buying it thats why he doesnt wanna sell the shop yet.

But anyway I think we should start trying to organize some kind of meet. We have probably 4 guys on the STL rotary club that im sure would come to.

Mike if you still want to do the compression thing sometime im ready whenever. We have a big driveway here and garage with jacks and all that so if anything we could do it here. I actaully cant even get my car to the shop because its too low so I wont ever be going there really.

Also maybe we can do a cruise up the river road to barbeque down by the river up that way if anyone wants its an awesome drive.

Of course im talking about probably 2 months from now but its good to get this set up sooner rather than later. If anyone has ideas of things or likes these ideas let me know. Ill try to start finding some dates and try to get it all set up.

We can do the compression testing whenever, but I'd prefer warmer weather. :D I work a regular daytime shift job now, so Saturdays and Sundays are open to me, as well as possibly Friday nights and holidays.

I already tried it out on my car and it's fairly straightforward. The only difficulty will be how stubborn everyone's ESS is to unplug.

Haha, Cole and I already dealt with that crap a long time ago. But once you know how to remove it its not too bad. I completly agree though warm weather. My reman will probably lose all compression by them though but no big deal lol. Actaully that would totally suck.

It was 70 degrees here last week... haha

When me, Adam and Charlie were seafoaming our cars a year or so ago we had to unplug the ESS.... Huge pain in the ***.

I have a set I may be interested in selling I think AJ has some too.

Mine are painted black though probably need to be redone. They would come with TPMS and Tires. Probably could demount it if you wanted. Message me if you want to talk about them anymore.

Stock wheels

What is the price? I might come up from Cape Girardeau to buy them if they work with 09 GT.

Thanks for the responses. I'm picking up AJ's rims next weekend. And it looks like he'll be mounting and balancing the tires I just ordered. Gotta love rx8club.

With that offset I doubt it. Possibly a roll in the rear but I think you should be okay.

Yours will basically be a little more than an inch further in than mine. I am running about -2.5 degrees camber though so you will most likely have to run some if you dont want to roll.

Thanks i'll keep that in mind. Both you and Broda are running some serious neg camber, how do your tires last lol.

Cole are you going to plasti-dip again or powdercoat? I'm sure powdercoating will suck with all of that sanding but they would look great, what color? Black would be good but I would maybe consider white to change it up:

I'm actually going to paint them this time. I think I am going to stick with black, but I did think the car would look nice with white strakes and rims the other day.

I am willing to put in the time and work to sand it, I just want a more permanent finish. The plastidip is chipping and peeling off in places. Held up nicely for 8 months or so though. I want a more gloss finish too. The plastidip was a pretty flat color.

My tires are just fine. Actaully I remembered im more around -3 my tires arent bad at all though. I think a lot of people that race actually run around -1.5 to -2 anyway so its nothing bad for the car.

Have fun with the sanding Cole. I hated doing it. White would look good but for stock wheels I think its a little too out there, black it a little more low key.

I think im gonna swap put my coilover springs today, since I have no class and its supposed to be somewhat nice out.

That's what I was thinking too. If I had some aftermarket wheels, white would look nice, but on the stock rims the spokes are too thick for a white rim.
