Ok I need some more color advice lol. So along with painting the catch can blue I was planning to paint the washer fluid cap, oil cap and repaint the brake calipers blue. The other set of enkei's I am putting on won't have center caps so should I paint the hub behind that black? Or blue to match the calipers?

 

Blue on it all except the calipers. It sounds cool and is cool at first but I honestly think factory brakes look bad anything except black silver or grey. OF course its your car so do what you want but thats my honest opinion. Also yes if you arent gonna get centercaps paints the hub area black if its crappy looking.

 

Also make sure you clean it all very good and do at least 3 coats or it wont last. Mines already starting to come off in some areas on the calipers because i didnt clean it good enough.

 

I was parked in the Delmar loop today and ended up parking next to a Shinka and a base VR. Not sure who they were, and I didn't have anything to leave on their cars. haha

 

^ if it had been my 8 you could have just wrote the message right on the car with how dirty it is lol. Clean cars and Columbia just don't mix, but at least its cleaner then our apartment after the party last night. I'll stop ranting now lol!

I would be movin back. Havent gotten the job offer yet, but feel good about it and its a job i cant turn down. So im already lookin at apartments in downtown...Now watch i'll jinx myself.

And yea if I make it back ill deff have to make it out to the meet on the 7th. Dont know if ill be back by then but if I am im there, if not were gonna have to get those hooters meets goin again.

Adam you still sittin low as hell in the 8? how are the roads there these days? The G is sittin pretty low and im thinkin of runnin a front splitter with my inven front? Just wonderin if with the splitter ill sit to low (if there is such a thing).

 

Im not as low as I was, I think im a little over 3 inches off the groud now from the front lip. And its about the perfect mix between looks/function. I still scrape quite a bit though.You shoul upload a pic of the G on here.

 

I want to get a front lip for the 8. I think it would make my car seem lower in the front and more aggresive.

 

^^Yea a front lip always adds to the looks, deff makes the car appear lower while also more aggressive.

Prolly will end up goin gloss black on the grille after installing front splitter.

I would still like to go to a meet, but now I have every light in the gauge on and have been driving my moms compass since Friday.

 

yea that piston thing is not quite finished yet but i do love the look of the front, especially after i get this front splitter on it next weekend after it comes in. Need to pick up some sides, and carbon fiber rear, and lip spoiler on trunk.

Also looks like i am getting the offer early next week, so its pretty much a sure thing ill be back now. Not ready for this cold weather stuff again but o well, guess ill get as much time in at the beach before i head back.

Put on the new wheels today! no rubbing coming out of the driveway which is a plus. I will probably roll the fenders later anyways so I can fit some spacers. Took a couple crappy cell phone pics:
