AJ, would you rather put that stuff on Friday or Saturday after thanksgiving? I work Friday night so it would have to be at about 11 so we have time to finish for sure. Sunday I could do it after work which would be about 1 when im home.

Yeah, I replaced the coils. I think I need new wires though. One of them doesn't have a good click when I push it onto the spark plug. It starts fine now, but runs a little rough occasionally. It definitely helped though. The car doesn't scare me anymore at least.

In other news, I lost the lugnut key I had, so I may have to borrow one of yours sometime.

 

I still have those taillights for you in my trunk adam.

 

I lost my lug nut key too a while ago. Wish I still had it. But haha ill get them sometime soon Cole.

 

I might have an extra key, I just have to check. Otherwise I will be doing some ghetto stuff to get these lugs off.

 

Got the clearcorners on now, in process of trying to do a decent job painting the brake calipers and center of rotors haha. I'll post pics when I'm done if anyone cares.

 

I just did that with mine about 3 weeks ago. Took me forever since I taped it all off. Think it took like 3 hours. But it was worth it.

 

pics; first is clear corners; then a before pic of brakes before painting and then the rears and fronts after painting them. letting them dry overnight. overall i don't think they came out to bad for having pretty much zero painting skill haha.

 

I want to paint mine red one of these days... I wanna see pics with the wheels on!

^ late response but what kind of tires are you trying to mount? if they're for the oem wheels then any tire shop should work fine.

How bout those Tiger beating KU. To bad we won't play them regularly every year anymore.

Btw thanks for helping to put the coilovers on Adam, car is riding great. have a new found respect for curbs and speedbumps haha. you should post a pic of how low your car sits now lol.

Damn, AJ the car looks really good actually. The wheels even look better with the drop and all. We will have to drop it just a little more some time though.

I raised mine almost a half inch from when you saw it and might even raise it a few more mm's once the springs come in. I dwant to actually be able to drive the car and I cant do that with it that low.

Also if anyone around here wants some S Techs ill sell them for 100 bucks. Also I still wanna sell the midpipe so 100 for that too. If someone wants both ill do 190 for it all.

I need to get some money for the car. Thinking Sways and BHR ignition next.

 

I might buy the springs off you. I have been looking at getting some anyway. If the midpipe wouldn't sound like crap... haha

 

Oh, and if I do buy your springs Adam, I have your taillights. haha And I still need to find a new lugnut key or run by a dealership and get them taken off...

 

I lost my key too so I ended up wasting some sockets to get the lugs off.

Also Cole my car is driveable now so I will come down this week sometime to get them.

 

Alright man. I may go to a dealer and borrow their key to get them off. We will see. I don't need them off as of now, but if I get the springs then I will need to. haha
