Charlie if its the compressor id check out the parts group, I just bought a condensor off there for 100 bucks and they have a condensor and hoses for 85 for sale.

 

I'm pretty sure it's the blower and blower wheel. Any idea what that entails?

 

did you try the diy on the fan control repair? it can cause the fan not to operate properly

It's not a temp problem, it's actually erratically pushing cooled or heated air. Some times not at all and it's not up to speed and it's making a ticking noise as I try to increase fan speed.

 

ahh most of the time fan issues are a pain to fix cause you have to remove the whole dashboard not sure on the rx8 tho. might be lucky and just have something caught in the fan tho causing it to get jammed it could be a fan loose on the motor shaft too which will cause all sorts of noise.

 

I regret to tell you but i too am takin my talents to south beach to join Charlie and lebron. signed for my place yesterday so we gotta have another meet before Aug 1st.

Adam get some spacers lol also these wheels are wide as shut man anything much more aggressive than what I'm running is going to cost you in body work. And yes it means wither an 05-06 M3 or an 08-09 335i I'm leaning towards the 335 ATM with the twin Turbo i6 it's a monster when tuned making 300 + at the wheels easy with virtually no supporting mods. Also newer so theoretically cheaper upkeep. But the M3 is my dream car and just a sports machine to the core.

I didnt mean aggressive as in wider I just meant as in lower offset, im am going with a hellaflush set-up, probably with some 18x9.5 +22 with some 225/40s.
