I saw that yellow 8 driving down 64 today too, but it's not anyone on here. We need to make business cards with the forum on it or something and put them on people's windshields. I went to Lafayette park on monday and there were 3 8's parked there. There are a lot of 8's around now, they just don't know of the forum.

 

Ha ha I'm still around James just been busy lately. I'm always in for a meet just will be in the G. Tryin to decide if I want to dump the money into the G or save it for a house. We will see.

You guys and your florida who needs it, its nice and humid here in STL with no ocean. Okay im lying florida would be nice.

I feel like meets are really hard to get together here on 8club but for anyone that wants to come to cruises or meets theres always thursday nights at the valley and Ryan and I are usually there, Plus theres a couple facebook groups im in that have meets/cruises Gateway Car Cruises and STLQuickshift, join them and come out and represent the 8s im usually the only one. Someone else needs to be slow with me around all these fast cars.

But on another note if anyone notices a good deal on some wheels let me know. Im looking for 18x9.5 preferably and around a +20 offset, I know theres lots of wheels out there but im just looking around at the moment.

I try to make it out, but now I'm damn crippled and can't move my right arm. So I'm stuck drivin the Charger for now. It's not a bad car, but I miss my 8. I leave for Europe Juy 6th and get back the 16th. Maybe after I get back from there I will be able to drive again.

 

I like these wheels but their not exactly what I want, I want to go back to 18s and also get a black wheel. Plus instead of buying tires for these in a month or so id rather just buy something used with tires already on.

And hopefully you will be able to.

 

I go back to the Doc for Post-Op today, so hopefully I will get some sense of when I will be able to move it then.

I forgot that those wheels were 19's, but I will keep an eye out.

Well whats making it tempting is theoretically my car is currently worth more than what I paid for it, so we will see what happens in the realm of reality. Also it will only be sold if I finally snag a good paying job AND (now this is the kicker) I need to find a 05 or 06 Low mileage E46 M3 Competition Pack FI or NA that is in good shape and is either white black red or Dark Blue with saddle brown int or black and of course it needs to be stick lol sooooo this is kind of like a crap shoot so if I find it i may be selling the 8 if not ill keep my baby...

On a side note its amazing how many heads this car turns even in this city, Miami has sooo many nice cars lol

 

but so many are your cookie cutter rich kid cars. when i was in Tampa g35 were as common as cavaliers here and i saw 2rx8's hell i saw 7 Maseratis

 

Around here, the 8 is an insurance liability because it gives so many people whiplash!

Charlie right now it looks like were planning on bein down there by Aug 10th so we will see. I still have to find a job somewhere down there first to be able to get by till i find somethin steady down there.

 

Well I changed my tranny and diff fluid today, I cant say I notice a huge difference but the old fluids were pretty nasty plus lots of crap on the magnetic plugs, also put on a new exhaust gasket to fix my leak. Now im just waiting for my AC condensor to get here and the car will be in pretty good shape as far as maintenence.

Then I think im pretty much done with it for a little while because im gonna get some new wheels, kinda want RPF1s or maybe MB Battles. Not too sure yet.

Also next saturday night is STL quickshifts cruise and then I believe the 28th is Gateway Car Cruises cruise, if you want to see nice cars go to this one. Ill be there for sure hopefully one of you guys comes out.

 

where do these cruises meet? im at fort leonard wood and not many 8's out here ive seen like 1 or 2 different 8's like once.

 

All the ones I talk about are in the St Louis area, so a little bit of a drive for you.

Yea you are! I used to live out there for a bit with relatives; I still visit from time to time. It's not called "Ft. Lost-in-the-woods" for nothing.
