Congrats on paying off the car, sucks you got rear ended.

But I switched to Megan Coilovers a while ago. When I had the Springs/Struts my car had an uneven ride height in the rear due to IDK what. But YES I dropped the car down before tightening the lower and upper control arms back up. I even drove on my driveway a lil bit before tightening everything back up.

What springs do you have?

 

Racing Beat springs. I measured the height of the rears shortly after lowering and noticed it was maybe half an inch difference between the sides; no idea what it is now (will find out after I pick up the car today). I will probably try using a jack to produce the load on the lower ball joint and try re-tightening it that way.

 

The front you can get to if you turn the wheel with the rears I forgot what I did.

 

I pre-ordered one of TwistedRotor's v2 compression testers; letting you all know in case you ever need to get your engine tested.


Good to know; I think I'm gonna try lifting up the rear suspension by the ball joint to simulate a load and tighten that way.

 

I haven't had a compression test done on my engine, so it would be interesting to see what the compression was on my engine.

We need to organize a meet soon. And actually do it this time.

 

I probably won't have the tester for another month or so, but a meet to get compression readings would be a good way to get a nice turn out. :D

Okay as far as things going on. This Saturday is The Lot meet, let me know if you need more info. Last month was pretty awesome and I believe this is the last one of the Year.

After that is the STL Quickshift cruise not sure if im going or not.

And then September 24th is the GCC meet and greet thing on lindbergh

Then also on october 1st I believe is another cruise but I will get more info on that.

We need to get some things going for the end of the year stuff. School is no excuse lol. I have it too.

One other thing this weekend is an Autox out at family arena. Only one more left this year which will be in October on the 9th. Why not come on out and play with us. The autocross event is Sunday morning (09/18). I unfortunately will not be there because I still have an unfinished suspension install to get sorted out. I will definitely make it out to the last one in October.

Porting? I don't know of a place around here, most people ship their motor to Petit or something.
